I admit he's one of the better T's and doesn't belong in with Polts designated 'doesnt deserve CodeS' group but in my eyes there's nothing about him which says to me he deserves it more than say Bomber or MMA edit: by 'it' I mean a win | ||

And after a very scrappy first round, he picked himself up and beat Kyrix in an amazing matter, he beat both GSL Open 1 finalists on his way to give Nestea the scare of his life, being the only player to take a game of him and ending the finals at 4-3 in Nestea's favour. He changed the complete matchup in that tournament. In GSL Jan, he showed of that Marines worked in TvT as well. The match against NaDa comes to mind. He just delivers great matches time and time again. He wears his heart on his sleeve and the Kong line helps him to get some popularity as well. He just won me over at the start I guess | ||

Watch his games from GSL2, specifically against Kyrix. He was the first one to really do marine splitting and make them work against banelings. | ||

Hmm....i guess that explains why some people dont get why people like MKP, they obviously dont know much about the game. Here's a hint about using marines: you gotta micro them. I know it sounds obvious, but no one really does that before MKP appeared.... | ||

The most recent example of a flash of brilliance from MKP that I can recall was game 4 against Leenock in GSL August... I know the majority of his play seems uninspiring, but games like that keep me hooked into MarineKing. | ||

Again. Watch even just game one and five against Kyrix in GSL2. Or, alternatively, accept that that series showed what was at the time the best micro of any terran, and truly revolutionized TvZ. Prior to that, banelings were thought to be THE counter to marines. MKP begged to differ. | ||
