Not sure who has, but the best ZVT player in the world wouldn't have stopped those pushes, unless they got a lair at about the 3 minute mark, which if they did, the terran would just build lots of marines and win that way...

Stephano did beat MMA, IdrA has beaten lots of good terrans also, stephano got beat from goody, idra has also been beaten from terrans who aren't quite as good.

They are both Code S level IMO

Yes they would have. Stephano's defenses in those two games were pretty abyssmal. Goody didn't even micro paticulary well.
Neither of them are Code S level, except in maybe 1 MU, stop with this rampant fanboyism and try to think rationally for once people.

Stephano has won more in one month than any other foreigner has done in his whole career. His growth rate is like 500% better than any other player in the world. He just lost one series, get over yourself - and it wasn't even against a bad player.

Jesus people. I'm not saying he's bad, he's fucking amazing. I just said that I was tired of people hyping him up to the best freaking player in the world.

Stephano is the best foreigner player in the world, though.

This is exactly my point. How the hell can you make a claim like that? He won two tournaments. Idra won two. HuK won one and is having sucess in Korea. How do you judge based on that?

Because Stephano has almost $20,000 more in earnings than the next foreigner up?

MLG had far more difficulty oppenents in it than IPL3, yet IPL3 gave 4x the prize money. You can't judge on winnings, otherwise Fruitdealer is like the sixth best player in Korea atm then.

That makes no logical sense, my good man.

How does it not? The kid was arguing Stephano was the best based on prize winnings. I'm saying that doesn't accurately describe the oppenents they played.

I was being sarcastic. ^_^

Guess that makes Goody the best foreigner ever of all time in history.

Why?

Stephano's ZvT was perfect in IPL 3 and now he lost, but still that doesn't make Goody the best non-korean of all time, Stephano was never the best to begin with.

Oo @IPL3 he won ZvTs against TheSTC and Boxer who aren't a perfect showcase of good TvZ and got completly demolished by Alive. I'm not sure how someone can conclude perfect ZvT from this performance lol.

tbh his ZvT makes Koreans feel overwhelmed at first, but after they figure it out, they know it's not some godlike stuff and can deal with it nicely. Like theStC, he lost to Stephano in IPL3, and then won him in MLG in the same week.

Nerchio killed the Automaton 2000! LOL!
With an average game length of 7m36s over his 6 games in GSL3, this is a no-brainer. BitByBit pulls more SCVs than yo momma at a club on Mar Sara. ♞

Why is stephano hyped so much? He has no passion for the game, he's no fun to watch or thrill to play.

Okay:
Who is the best football (yeah thats soccer) player of all time?
Who is the best basketball player of all time?
Who is the best boxer of all time?

...

Those questions are just stupid. And they only exist to maintain a sports journalists job.

And it's just great Really love his style.

Btw. this playstyle works only for Goody. If he had a better multitasking he would be a SC2-monster, his tactics are superior.

Gosh cant people just agree that Steph is a really good, talented player and let it be? Losing one BoX dosnt mean you're a terrible player all out of the sudden as winning one dosnt mean youre better than the person youve beaten. Anything can happen and Goody has some strong timings. He lost, so what. It dosnt make him any less of a fantastic player. It's so sad people always want to dismiss succes of players like Stephano, what has he ever done to you? Hes just a young guy playing a game, imagine if it was you in your situation. It's quite sad.

Stephano is good, Idra is good, Nani is good, Thorzain is good. Now stop always comparing and rating them, they have ups and downs in forms, good and bad days, its impossible to always win.

I hope I can find my post where I said I'm going to laugh when Stephano doesn't win this tournament.

You types of people really had to come to this thread that has been beautiful and happy for over 110 pages and shit all over it, right?

Beautifu and happy? We must be looking at different threads.

There has been NO balance whine, NO player bash, NO drama, up until now. Only legitimate complaints about the sub-par quality of the production.
As soon as Stephano lost comes the parade of smug people rubbing it into other people's faces.

That is how the internet works. You can't talk a player up for the past month or two like a lot of people have been doing, and then not expect the complete backlash when he lost. Not a big deal, and to be expected. Stephano is still really good, and arguing over who the "best foreign player" is after every friggin tournament is getting old. Winning one tournament or even one series doesn't make you great, and losing one tournament or series doesn't make you terrible. And it is possible for several players to all be very good, quick talking in absolutes.

that's the way it works though... Sports (or esports) for that matter would be totally boring if nobody debated everything! Like IMO, there are 3 forigners who are code S status... Huk idrA and Stephano... i know a lot of people don't agree with me, but i dont care, i would happily explain why i think that. ^^
