I followed most of the tournament and I think it's a great first one.
For what I saw. - Although the physical audience is German, it's really mandatory for a tourney to have English casters, at minimum online. - The delay thing needs to be adressed but noone is omniscient. - Maybe a RO16? A good chance for less known EU players to shine.

However, my overall impression of the event was not that good. The delays and total lack of a schedule made it impossible to tune in for specific games. + Show Spoiler +Also, I did not purchase the HQ stream as I would only be able to see some games. However, this took away from the experience as the LQ stream was pretty bad. I understand that you want people to purchase the premium service, hence lowering the quality of the free service, but it kind of hurt my eyes and ears. I would prefer to see some commercials and such over that. Also I did have some weird lag or something from the viewer – I never have that on Twitch.tv and the other more common viewers.
Overall I am sure that this was a great event with good games but I only managed to see 2 games or so, which I think was unfortunate (for me). I will download the replays and try to catch up on some of the games.
You do realise that there is a contradiction between wanting less downtime and a specific schedule, right? To have a specific shedule when games are not allways the same length means having room to spare in between matches, for those of us who watched Blizzcon, we know what that means.. 20 minutes bo3 zvz, 70 minutes downtime, since round was scheduled to take 90 minutes and didn't. That gives you a specific time, but more downtime, which in my opinion is bad for the viewers, both on stream and irl.
How to shorten setup time between matches is of course a problem, the two alternatives seems to be: Four computer for the players instead of two Pros: shorter setup time, less downtime. Cons: More expensive, hard to fit four desks to be visible on a small stage without getting in the way of each other while setting up durning matches. I liked seeing the players next to the big screen.
Replay casting Pros: Super smooth. Cons: Replays, not live. Takes the reason for a live tournament away imo.
Or just hurry the players on when setting up, but is that really an option?
And on top of all, having a more loose schedule means you can't play as many games in one day.

we have 50 GBs of files which currently beeing remastered and cut. the mastering is needed to filter out this annoying backround noise. fiorst parts should be up soon

Thank you very much!

the first vods are up, but not much. It will be a steady flow from now one as it requires alot of cpu power and time to remove the humming sound (without killing too much audio quality) from the recordings.
The vods are here:

I am confident that i have most of the vods remastered by tomorrow. I will upload vod by vod as soon as im done. The complete recording is also uploaded after im done cutting (because that is faster then re-encoding the complete recording which is like 8+ hours)
When all vods are up we will also add a download option to all files.

Thank you sir. I will wait patiently for the rest of the VODs.

Game 3 of Stephano vs. Goody... goose skin all over again even tho i've seen it live. Great Tournament, Great show! Next time will be even better and we'll try to minimize the delays (or event completly stay on time) and get the Streams as perfekt as the event itself. Hope everybody at the Hall enjoyed it and had a good time.
Thanks again for the Event and thanks for beeing able to participate and help out!

In the 3rd game Stephano did'nt use the high ground =( the rest was well explained by Day9 yesterday, no counter attack, wanting to crush mech head on, etc.
