If you go back and read the LR threads from that time, you'll see a lot of "wow, this Zerg played so bad" sentiment, not so much for the other races. It's simple, really, hindsight always makes you focus on the mistakes of the player who lost.
Like yesterday, after HuK vs Virus g1, there was a lot of discussion on what HuK did wrong, and none whatsoever on the absolutely terrible play of Virus. Similarly, we're now talking about how terrible Squirtle is for for overcommiting to his attack, while Annyung supply blocking himsef 5 times is completely irrelevant.
It's just a fact of human psychology.

Bomber would probably never beat Mvp in a code S final (and Mvp will probably never lose a code S final until there are "better" BW players switching over), and you know what the code A final between them both was right before Super Tournament where Mvp got beaten by GanZi (by mech I should say :D), not when Mvp was owning everyone at MLG & GSL which is far later.
