Losira played well: MC has no choice but to push out when Losira is happily getting his 4th base along with a handful of upgrades.

Its very very difficult to take a third on that map - if you stretch out your defenses, Losira will absolutely rape you with his ling run-by's. With Losira getting his fourth, MC had to do a two base all-in, there isn't really much you can do.

I hate 3 player maps overall. They feel constricted even though they're supposed to add a bit of diversity. Might as well just make it a 2 player map

This is a huge reason why protoss are doing so bad, predictability really is causing protoss to get killed left and right. We have a few "standard safe builds", but even then, it gets read easily without even scouting, correct if im wrong but losira took a third without even scouting the lower pylon, I could be wrong.

Watch any ZvP in the last forever from any competent zerg, they don't just let the protoss turtle and take their third......

MC can be really happy that kyrix and check are much worse than him, so he has a shot at winning against those zergs

tbh MC should just go for some old-school 6gate. That shit gives even top Zergs a lot of trouble and with his FFs it rapes even harder.
Dunno why he goes for Stargate when LosirA has shown time and time again that he holds that perfectly while getting to 70 drones.

Yea this, rotational symmetry in a 3 player map means that there will be a 100% chance that one player will have a positional advantage over another. Not saying that this is the main reason MC lost, as he did play pretty bad, but still a terrible map nontheless

As a Protoss player, still wouldn't mind MC going down to Code A. Wouldn't mind at all.
A Protoss who has issues beating a Zerg just needs to practice more, despite if it's Bronze-league level or Code-S level.
