Potentially six Terrans could drop to Code A from the Up-and downs (Jjakji is the only Terran in his group), which means six non-Terrans advance to Code S minimum. Worst case scenario, 6 Terrans drop and the next three qualifiers are Terran, making 8 Z/14 T/ 7 P, but also making Code S more balanced in the process.

Interesting. It's also possible that only one Terran drops (3 in group A) and the next three who qualify are Z/P. making Terran the minority race for I think the first time in either GSL Code.

Warpgate. If you spend 400 on a nexus, and the other guy gets 400 minerals of units in 5 seconds(warp in time), he has ~25 seconds where he just has more stuff. Not going to be able to fix

I think it basically comes down to the warpgate mechanic. It allows you to warp into their base. There's no defensive advantage.

TvT, you can bunker.
ZvZ, you can get spines. Banelings defend speedlings, roaches defend well with spines. Queens even defend early.
PvP, you can pretty much send all your forces, and there's no defensive advantage (cannons don't really work, except in a few specific maps/situations).

also blink stalker, which can bypass defensive structures. if there was no blink, then i think toss could fe with cannons. not saying they should remove blink, just sayin.

Yup. Maybe the 30sec added to blink upgrade will help a little.
