I cant understand that either. Seriously, I dont think mOOnGlaDe even saw them. HuK did this things also while being on Liquid. He is just such a guy and I am sure he does not meant that to bm anyone lol.

Yea precisely. His life problems have somehow transformed his zerg play into not missing any injects, 7k mineral banks and 200 max roach play. I always knew the roach was a cost-efficient unit, just wanted to see how someone could play an attritional / remaxing style which Moonglade executed quite well.

Look - Moonglade didn't play perfectly (losing infestors, not scouting enough 2nd game etc), but tbh Huk was at 50% by the looks. He has a deadly killer visage when he's in Code S dueling it out with the mafias over there. I just feel Huk doesn't seem to be in that killer mindset today... not enough sneaky pylon harass in the third game... dt's would've been awesome to harass expansions or something. His unit comps were quite exceptional, esp keeping sentries alive all the way into mid game consistently.

We are seeing the dawn of "neural parasite" pretty much, hope to see protosses think of a counter to this new age infestor usage

Moonglade had clutch infestor burrows to dodge feedbacks. his infestor control overall was amazing. neurals, fungals, observer sniping with fungal+infested terran, burrow...

He did, but huk was going way too archon heavy. I didn't see a feedback until way late in the game. Huk needed hts in the big battle because the neurals destroyed him in that fight.

He's just another Zerg that abuses the broken Infestor/Broodlord combo.

Are you kidding me? Glade showed off a revolutionary style that series. Every game he went for late tech in favor of being able to reinforce quickly. Many players look for the answer to a certain problem in composition, hitting that tech unit in time to deal with the enemy's actions. Glade chose instead to bank resources and neglect tech to make sure he remaxed after engagements. I don't know if it's the best way to do it, but it certainly worked.

....except glade didn't have to remax in game 3's midgame because he didn't have any major engagements after he maxed out and still waited until 20+ for greater spire

That's not revolutionary, that's the most basic 'lets make roaches forever on 50 droens' style that zergs have used for ages

Glade does the army composition that counters HuKs and people are crying about balance? HuK had no HTs (Which counter infestors) and void rays (Which counter broods and are cost effective against corruptors).

Get psi storm. It kills roaches in 7 seconds.

Just one storm on that giant ball of roaches does more damage than 10 colossus swipes.

But I'm ecstatic for Moonglade that's all. I think you might be mistaking some of that for Huk hate.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves.

There's a pretty good reason to think HuK is not playing at close to 100% considering HuK's current schedule and circumstance. If Glade is on form, then it'll show vs the other players in the group.

Btw this isn't hate. I've been a Glade fan since I picked up sc2, I just don't think this result is indicative of much.

I actually thought Moonglade played pretty well in game 2 and 3. Needs refinement, but still. His timings on larva (injecting and making units) are amazing.


His injects were quite bad the last game, looked like his main queen had around 125~150 energy only 20 minutes in.

For some reason I really don't know i liked seeing Huk losing when he was on TL (and before that).
