Most forget to make enough observer ![]() That and the fact that a rine ball with scans just utterly melts them. Plus blanket EMPs often bring them out as a side effect. You'd almost need like 4 or 5 behind your army all hotkeyed to be brought up as they're killed. Reconsidering, I'm actually really, really glad most Terrans don't cloak ghosts.

Not going to say that it is worse than staying in Code S, but the second you have an unlucky draw, you can be so so very dead. Nothing I have seen in the last months would have me believe that Tester would beat the top Code A players in a Bo3. Then again, he might be able to stay Code S with a lucky bracket draw, though it does not seem too likely at this point.

I also didn't come out of the whole TSL thing looking too hot. He has been slacking off and hurting his team, which generally doesn't help the popularity along

He was awesome in the beta and slowly went downhill. Loyal fans (including myself) tried to cling on, hoping that he would do better next GSL. Then he left TSL with FD because he didn't want to practice as much as TSL were, and he even lied about details regarding the whole TSL-S2Con ordeal.

I think a patch can fix Protoss. vs Terrans. Perhaps make cannons cheaper, or more powerful, more damage resistant. make warp prisms cheaper are easier access in early game..

Fortunately(?) for Tester, the Promotion/Relegation matches are multiple Best of 1s, so if he gets lucky (he'll need to be, with what he's shown today) he might be able to make it back, but with the quality of players coming up from Code A, I fear for him . . .

This isn't the sort of game where you can get by on pure talent alone without putting a tremendous amount of work into it. Until Tester (and by extension, FruitDealer) get to the point where they want it bad enough that they're willing to give their all, they simply don't deserve to go any further than these other players who clearly desire it more. Which sucks, cause FruitDealer and Tester were some of my favourite players during the open season era, but their work ethic shows through their results. I want to hope that they'll turn it around, but I'm having trouble believing they ever will. Reaching the top again won't be as easy now that they've fallen off so much and everyone else has become that much better.

You really wanna save patching as a last resort and then only patch as small as possible.

Seriously, you think the current form of PvT has been ultimately figured out and everyone plays perfectly? No? No need to change anything. Just because Protoss are having a tough time at the moment does not mean things need to be altered. Not just yet. You're too giddy.
