It was an interesting play that was much more effective because the Terran didn't expect it and lost his banshees. That Puzzle got lucky neither proves nor necessarily refutes the concept of the build. If it or a variant is actually viable, we'll know in the next week or so because more Protoss will try it (or we'll see Terrans stop 1-1-1'ing and wonder why, because it was beaten in practice) | ||

You can just mass up more marines against any phoenix openings, and zealots will just melt to a mass of marines. I've even seen a Terran get a thor out against optikzero and absolutely demolished him | ||

You may be right but this game was not conclusive evidence that a stargate opening demolishes the build. Did you see asd orbital energy? He had 1 reactor rax and sieged late. Bomber's all in was the most scary I've seen and MC couldn't beat it even though he played well. | ||
