yeah i like the guy. too bad ret's zvp is pretty bonjwa. nani needs some good eu zerg training partner to be a pvz bonjwa

about the idra vs ret dispute, it's apples and oranges- idra's vT and vZ is more bonjwa while ret's vP is more bonjwa. but honestly, both of them are lesser players now than Huk, it seems you really need some korean training to bonjwa better in these tournaments.

Actually, I think ret himself would disagree with you there, his zvp isnt actually that impressive. It might sound strange after these games, but normally he has a mental block on that match up. Naniwa kind of played bad :o Of course Ret played well, but what you said is not really true.

Now, to remain on topic, he is of course the best non korean gamer.

I think you are right.

IdrA lived 3 years in Korea = Korean
HuK lives in Korea = Korean
Sen, Taiwan is close to Korea = Korean
Naniwa is going to Korea = Korean
Thorzain is going to Korea = Korean

Ret has also been in Korea, but not for such a long time as IdrA. That means his Korean is rubbing off and he is becoming a Dutchie once again.

Korean is like a virus, once you get it you become good at Starcraft

Also important; SeleCT = Korean, but lives in NA = Foreigner

True but even if he is a Foreigner. I won't consider him being a top one. His past 2 MLG's are pretty bad.

Hmmm. Given that Thorzain and Naniwa's Code A games will be held in only a little over 2 days, I guess they will be heading over there now? Have they already been there? I hope they don't get jetlagged when they get there and perform poorly in the Code A games.

Yes, we must also not forget that CatZ believes that Koreans are stealing our money.

In this particular conversation I'm not even discussing "how good is IdrA?"

I'm correcting an incorrect statement:

Homestory, dreamhack, every MLG? Notable performances in none of them.

This statement simply isn't true. It's factually false.

ye he had a top 4 two MLGs ago, gratz

You're completely clueless, gratz.
top 12 at anaheim? :S am i missing something as of late?

In summary:

darlhet: The world is flat!
Me: Actually, the world is a sphere.
darlhet: IdrA isn't nearly as good as Ret, Sen, or Dimaga!
Me: I didn't say he was.
darlhet: Am I missing something?????

yep the discussion was about world's flatness and since you agree idra is currently a little bit behind ret sen and dimaga i guess we can end this conversation here

1. The discussion has been about people making incorrect statements by including words like "every" for no reason other than to talk trash.
2. IdrA currently isn't as good as Ret, Sen, or Dimaga.
3. You still don't understand what I'm talking about.

weird since you have such a clear way of expressing yourself
2. IdrA currently isn't as good as Ret, Sen, or Dimaga good we agree, calling out

(He still doesn't get it.)
(this guy keeps writing weird stuff while quoting me...creeepy...)

(Finally, he gets it.)

I know what you're thinking of, but I think that ZvP block may be a thing of the past. Not only because of the overall performances today, but because of the confidence in his economic openings, and the way he seems to have an exact plan for everything Protoss comes up (even when it doesn't get executed or doesn't work out).

Multitasking and forcing opponents to multitask has made the most difference for Ret in the last month or so imo. And Protoss players are usually more hurt by that than Terrans are.

This is also why Nani seemed to play worse than usual - I'm pretty sure that if I rewatch his recent PvZs he didn't have to deal with a similar style of play. I can't think of many Zerg players who were this active with their units and kinda fluid in their play.

If you think it's too hard there are solutions other than asking for a nerf, getting better is the first that comes to mind.

it would be depressively awesome if all the foreigners win by cheesing every game, and awesomely depressive if they deliver the best games but still lose.
