Heh,I love Ret and I watched him a lot so believe me when is say that his style hasn't almost changed against P than what it was when he was not wining that much. The only thing different is his unit composition at times. I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this, after he rolled over Naniwa but its true lol.

IdrA lived 3 years in Korea = Korean HuK lives in Korea = Korean Sen, Taiwan is close to Korea = Korean Naniwa is going to Korea = Korean Thorzain is going to Korea = Korean
Ret has also been in Korea, but not for such a long time as IdrA. That means his Korean is rubbing off and he is becoming a Dutchie once again.

Slightly off topic but I really liked this event. Great games, especially Nani vs. Thor was intense. Great play by Ret, he really surprised me... he was really in the zone today. Great casting by Rotti/Bitter, didn't think that they'll make such a good combo and also great production value overall. Looking forward to other invitationals!
On topic: I think Ret classifies as Korean and therefore can't be considered foreign Zerg bonjwa

Losing? Yes placing second is really losing. Get a reality check mate Should Naniwa get a reality check too? He didn't look like the guy who just won. You make him sound like his the incarnation of some sun God. Maybe he is indeed to hard on himself? Actually Naniwa already thinks high of himself, he is just a bit sad he did not place first, but really, he is a winner and Im sure he knows this as well. What about MarineKing then? He seems to be taking it rather hard as well. Maybe you need to reconsider your stance on that. Yes, second place is a good ranking for an up and coming player, and such a player will be reasonably happy about placing second in a big tournament. And even that's not always the case, as we've seen with MMA in the super tournament. For people who want to and are expected to win trophies? No fucking way. Not even close. They feel awful, and it's normal that they do. In some ways it's the worst ranking they can get. yes then they need a reality check Just because you are not motivated in the thing you do and are happy with a 2nd place does not mean someone else needs a reality check. Some people just want to get the most out of themselves and be the best at something. Some people have ambition and will do anything to reach their goal. Please don't post such stupid things. Are you telling me that you are not motivated if you are happy with a second place, whilst aiming for first? Yes? If you aim for the top and fail you should be sad/mad. It has happened many times for naniwa these last 6 months so i understand him being sad after coming short at the finish line every time. Do people in hockey / football look happy when they loose the finals? Way to live life, be sad, be extremely hard on yourself if you do not do not place first. Boxer is a winner in my eyes, yet he has not placed first in SC2 yet. He is of course disappointed if he loses an important match, but there really is no need to beat yourself down for it.
Boxer doesn't really consider himself as a top contender to win titles in SC2, nor is he realistically one, and after MLG he could be happy because it was his peak performance. Here's Boxer after losing a finals in a game where he was a contender:
+ Show Spoiler +
I don't understand why would you even argue about this. I understand you as a fan can be happy if your player ranked 2nd or 4th or whatever, but saying that "there's no need to beat yourself down for it" when in fact almost everyone beats themselves down for it is nonsensical.

Two things:
1) Ret was in korea for a good while making hin a halfy (half korean-half something else) 2) Nani and Thorzain need to stay in korea for more than a month to be considered trully korean, I hope they do stay and practice but I don't think that will be the case.

Fucking awesome. i felt as though he was awkwardly surprised and embarressed to get so much positive attention after getting 2-0'd. Not a huge fan of naniwa but it was really nice to see imo yeah i like the guy. too bad ret's zvp is pretty bonjwa. nani needs some good eu zerg training partner to be a pvz bonjwa about the idra vs ret dispute, it's apples and oranges- idra's vT and vZ is more bonjwa while ret's vP is more bonjwa. but honestly, both of them are lesser players now than Huk, it seems you really need some korean training to bonjwa better in these tournaments. Actually, I think ret himself would disagree with you there, his zvp isnt actually that impressive. It might sound strange after these games, but normally he has a mental block on that match up. Naniwa kind of played bad :o Of course Ret played well, but what you said is not really true. Now, to remain on topic, he is of course the best non korean gamer. I think you are right. IdrA lived 3 years in Korea = Korean HuK lives in Korea = Korean Sen, Taiwan is close to Korea = Korean Naniwa is going to Korea = Korean Thorzain is going to Korea = Korean Ret has also been in Korea, but not for such a long time as IdrA. That means his Korean is rubbing off and he is becoming a Dutchie once again. Korean is like a virus, once you get it you become good at Starcraft
Also important; SeleCT = Korean, but lives in NA = Foreigner
