Nah the draw forcing was really smart, not bm.
He couldnt have forced a draw. There was still loads of gas on the map anyway, because boxer was NOWHERE NEAR mining out all the gas from his old bases, Rain could have got gas from those bases. Boxer didn't know much much, if any, minerals Rain had, so from one view he was in a position where he thought he might be able to get a draw, but Rain definitely had more gas available, and Boxer could see Rain was still making new units anyway.

I say that because for a long time boxer hadn't been mining gas from THREE of his bases, including the gold. Rain had managed to mine out his side, but there's pretty much 0 chance Boxer had mined out his side, because Rain stopped mining at most of those bases while he was slowly pushing forwards. There was a geyser missing totally from the gold for ages due to siege tanks, and he took out the 9 and 10 o'clock bases before he (Rain) was mined out for gas, so unless Boxer hacked the game and stole gas without using SCVs, there was gas left at those bases.
His gold's gas was mined out waaaay long ago he just didnt mine out all his minerals right away totally NOT BM he just lost a lot of his Vikings to force the draw to a Seeker Missile great game super epic

Pretty much the reason why I love Boxer and WhiteRa so fucking much to bits. They've won a lot of tourneys and are in their so-called twilights. Winning still matters but not as much as putting a show for the fans.
It is not hard to see why they keep gaining so much respect in E-Sports. Long lives to them both.
