Jokes aside, it's standard in ZvP to lose 170-180 supply armies to 110-120 supply protoss armies. ZvP battles require much better micro compared to ZvT battles and unlike ZvT, you can't go sauron on protosses because it's pretty easy to hold sauron Zerg. You need drops/infestors/brood lords/ultralisks/all those high tech units with high upgrades and low tech units that will support those high tech units.


Zergs have cheap supply. That's all there's to it.


No, a zerg can not engage in a battle like that until broodlords are out. It is impossible to win a battle like that, and in that situation a zerg has to try to do anything to get protoss to turtle like by forcing baseeliminationraces or some kind of crazy all-in attack. Even worse on that map because collosus are even more powerful since flanking is impossible. The map makes it hard for broodlords too, and really hard to do do all-in attacks.

As I explained before, statistics don't mean anything in regards to balance. People fuck up. People do shitty strategies like proxy2gate and still win.

there are different variations. usually the forge goes down the same time a gateway would in a non forge first build. then nexus on 17, pylon on 17, etc.

if you pylon scout and see a ridiculously early pool, then youre right to go cannon/gateway first, but otherwise its better to put nexus down before
