I wouldnt put sage as one of the best protosses of all time, he doesn't nearly have the micro of either MC or Alicia. But he wins because he's intelligent player

Everyone listing things he should've gotten, did you not watch scfou's build order?
If he changed tech mid way, it would've been too late and by the time he got the necessary unit to push out, the difference in army & economy would've been too big.
sCfOu is a top3 terran, there's a reason he didnt get thors/cloaked banshees/tanks... it's because his build order was not aimed for it and it would've been too late & costly to suddenly transition into a completely different tech.
