This is all semantics. What 4 gate are we talking about. The Korean 4 Gate? If we are talking about 4 gates after having enough probes, I think you can support it off of 1 base. If we are talking about cutting probe 4 gate that everyone uses, eventually you have to wait a couple seconds each time for your last zealot to come in. | ||

Your income is roughly 800 mins/minute and 200 gas/min. Per round of warp in, you have to make a pylon. A warp-in with zealots/sentries is ~ 30 in game seconds. So every minute you can have 2 rounds of production from the remaining 600 mins/200 gas (200 mins lost to pylons). There is no way to get 8 units out of 600 mins/200 gas. Physically impossible. Best you can do is 5 zealots/2 sentries. You can almost support 4 gates. But you can't support it. And this doesn't even take into account chronoboosting your warpgates. /discussion Back on topic to the games. | ||
