watching nada win vs zerg makes me happy but as a terran i feel like i will never be able to play like that - every game vs zerg goes into some 30+ minute game where i lose ;D

does a 50 gas trade between zerg and terran mean the same thing? no because of the different rates of income they usually have. obvously you can compare, but 1:1 trade doesnt mean it's the same for both parties

There's so many other factors involved that make a 1:1 comparison useless. banelings aren't cost effective against marines? Well maybe the game would be broken if they were, considering it might be much easier for Zerg to secure a 3rd and establish a stronger economy than a Terran. Are ultras cost effective vs marines / marauder? Not really. What about ultras supported by infestors? God yes. Do banelings cost effectively counter marines? Maybe not, but dead marines, and even the time marines spend running away and not shooting, is time 25 mineral zerglings are using to chew through extremely expensive tanks and thors. And then you get into concepts of map control and air control. Roaches are terrible for map control, and roach / ling / infestor can have a much harder time dealing with drop centric play than can muta / ling / baneling for example.

Don't look into the examples I give too specifically. My point is just that starcraft is a complex game . Trying to simplify it to "XvY is broken because unit A can't cost effectively counter unit B" is dumb.

Also, can we get away from the T1 T2 T3 bullshit? ~_~ It's not how starcraft works. Again, its a complex game, and one that's designed in a way that can't be broken down into 3 basic tiers with the idea that T3 > T2 > T1. Marines are more than T1 units, they function as the backbone of a Terran army, protection for expensive gas units, and the main source of DPS throughout the entire game. Hence saying "its stupid Zerg needs to spend tier X to counter a t1 unit" is itself stupid.

My overall bet % is close to 66%. My bet % with games involving TL members is probably 25%. The only one I can seem to consistently predict the results of is Haypro... But I just usually autovote against him

Nada is always so contemplative before his games. This isn't the first time I've seen him just sitting there with his eyes closed before the game starts, It's so awesome to see, I love it :D
