Moon had a good amount of units to defend well against the push but Hong just created a WALL behind 4 roaches, he takes them alone and then the rest of the roaches can't do much. game is balanced around protoss having that ability. Moon just didn't respond timely to that attack. I mean, he saw the 2 extra gateways, what was he expecting, turtle toss? | ||

AT BEST ive seen zergs use roach/ling/spines to TURTLE / DEFEND against blink stalkers until he has his 2 bases fully saturated, and then the zerg can take his third while being able to contest the stalkers with full 2base saturation roach/ling/hydra against 1.5base protoss stalkers. At this point the protoss is forced to TURTLE / DEFEND while he tries to get collossi out anyway against good protoss's ive seen good zergs like idra AT BEST defend blink stalkers and allow the game to go late and have a equal game macro game the protoss with a 50/50 chance of victory depending on lategame battle deicisons.. but i dont think a good blink stalker build is "weak" at all and i think its a build that if pulled off properly will always let you have a equal economy lategame macro war with a zerg where you are on equal grounds army/economy wise I'm just saying the losira's build (he is a zerg) crush whatever delayed timing all-in with cancel Nexus, and that's what Hongun did. If you don't know the Losira's build then search it on TL. The build that you are talking about is a straight 3 gate blink stalker and the timing are not the same, so i'm not talking about it. | ||

I agree but some would make the argument that you should construct your strategy with that consideration. In this example we can argue that spines were the answer but the natural has 2 entrances and spines take years to root, and it is so crowded FFs will still allow you to block the rest of the army and own the spines. | ||
