The seeding is for Super Tournament only (I think maybe the World Champion used it aswell?) and is based on number appearances and the results of them so If you mean does MMA steal Lyn's points then no he doesn't.

What he means (I think) is this: Example I will use a NHL-type playoff bracket as an example. We have: 1v8 2v7 3v6 4v5 Does the winner from 1v8 play 4v5 no matter what? Or is it calculated so that you play the lowest seed again. I'm pretty sure in this case, its set. As in, if you win, you get the "protected" route of the higher seed.

It's format is similar to the NHL playoff's where it's set brackets -- not like the NBA's where they re-do seedings after every round to ensure that the highest seed always plays lowest. So to answer your question, yes, they would be "protected" until the round of 16. Also, GSL Super Tournament should've been referred to first before asking as you can clearly see that the brackets are set and "The Top 16 ranked players were strategically placed into the bracket so that they cannot face each other before the Round of 16.".

The Terminus game was bad, like nothing he did made sense. The Wall of buildings made no sense their was nothing on the map that facilitated any kind of wall. Walls funnel your units as Zerg and increases dmg taken by splash. Walls are only helpful if you have greater ranged units than your opponent, to take advantage of them. Also with as many melee / short ranged units Check had out, he should have been out on the map. Not back at his choke. If Check had 60 percent of his units in front of the choke of his 3 bases, then been roaming the map with the other 40 percent to flank. He would have had a much better chance at surviving the attack. And not looking as pathetic as he did.

Both have the ability to deal a lot of splash damage instantly if you dont watch out: ghosts/templar while ghosts only damage shields but can be cloacked, templar move slowly but deal real damage. i think these units are equal. Moreover both have cheap basic units: chargelot/marauder that can be reproduced pretty quick. in the very endgame everything comes down to securing your expansions and not losing the gas-expensive armyparts. in this state of the game I think chargelot/templar/colossi is a tiny bit more cost efficient than marauder/ghost/medivac/viking

Actually the NBA and NHL playoffs use a different format. Moyk had it backwards. In the NHL, they reseed the brackets after every round so the highest seeded teams always play the lowest seeded teams. In the NBA there is no reseeding so that when a number 8 seed wins against the number 1 seed, they could go on to play the number 4 seed in the second round rather than the number 2 seed (like the Grizzles this year). If the NBA used the NHL system, then the 8 seed would have played the 2 seed and the 3 seed would have played the 4 seed. Both systems have some advantages and disadvantages. The GSL Super Tournament will use set brackets, just like the Open tournaments in 2010. The first round already used random seeding after the top 16 and there are a lot of ties with respect to the number of GSL points players have that would make reseeding difficult to implement.
