Ya they can.
That was really hilarious game. Fast 3rd for Zerg is pretty dang scary if you have your build worked out really smooth--wow.

There is no light showing that there will ever be such an strategy though.. I think a strong counter would be a very turtle heavy style while building a huge tank count with marine and banshee support. Thors mixed in for tanking and to bait feedback with blue flame hellions for the mass zealots. Genius just brought together a shit load of different units together, terran needs to stop fucking around with pure bio and start mixing EVERYTHING in. Match their upgrades with your own? that too, but protoss can gain an edge with crono boost and often gain a lead in upgrades so that's not the answer. I really think blue flame hellions are waaay underused in TvP, when I off race terran and play protoss I work them in eventually into my composition and it's highly effective. I mean, if they are getting archons and colossus, they are gonna have a ton of minerals to dump on zealots. And siege tanks splash damage is a lot more useful against toss than people realize, especially when you target those precious sentries. Most people state that it's better to go pure bio with upgrades, but hellions really do seem underused as a core unit TvP, especially given how strong chargelots are against thors/tanks/bio. For any terrans out there, would stopping bio upgrades at 1/1 and then going for a lategame tank/hellion/ghost/viking mix be at all efficient?
I think hellions are ridiculously good, not only can you add them to your composition but you leave the Protoss with the ever looming threat of just losing the game in a matter of seconds, they are also great for early all ins/bio because pulled probes will get owned. On second thought, please dont do this terrans, please!

I agree that things are pretty balanced now, but the GSL finals is not an example of it. Inca hadn't won a single PvZ before Nestea, the best Zerg in the world, and he lost every game. It's clear you can't use Inca, one of the worst PvZers, vs. Nestea, the beset Zerg in the world, as an example of PvZ balance.

i find it funny that everything is considered an all-in these days.

Pfft, it's the standard 3base 70 drone all in!!

No lol, he had the better econ before attacking by a long shot.
The supply is a bad indicator for roaches, we all know how 200/200 of roaches does against even 160 supply protoss.
Genius applied no pressure and had only gateway units ... kind of deserves to get slapped around at that point.
