Also does anyone know why Naniwa didn't try to qualify? As a reminder, this was all seeded, so to play IdrA, ThorZaIN would have lost every seeding round (which are all best of 3). Naniwa didn't try to qualify because he does not want to play on North American servers. So if ThorZain loses to drewbie, IdrA will face thorzain first round? correct. :S that doesn't sound good. Thorzain MUST beat drewbie cause I dont wanna see that 1st round
I do! :3 lol
It would be funny if T-Zain lost on purpose so he could eliminate Idra early.

Ret vs. Select in R1. That should be awesome!

So seeding is still going on even after qualifiers? I'm assuming you guys just have 2 more to go right?

I don't know if anyone is at E3, but we sent ROOTDrewbie and ROOTCatZ there. They will be meeting people, playing games, and doing a contest where they pick the two worst sc2 players out of the crowd and have them play each other while they coach them - whoever wins gets a $250 gift card to Gamestop I believe. In case people are interested, it starts shortly at the IGN Hot Spot @ LA LIVE (ESPN Zone Patio, 1101 S Figueroa St), just a block away from the big show from 3 to 5 PM. ^ Is that how the brackets will look as well? Or is it just a list of the first round matches?

This is looking good, is it a double elim tournament? EDIT: I just read, yes it is That means that even if T-Zain loses/wins against Idra in the first round, neither will be out of the tournament overall, just knocked quickly into the losers bracket.

idra vs drewbie and thorzain vs axslav please. Both Idra and Thorzain should go far.

Goody, why TvP :C
And poor Cloud as well , no chance for him I guess^^

I'n confused, how exactly are the seedings decided?

Nerchio/Idra/Thorzain are favorites for me, BratOK and Strelok - Dark horses

16 terran, 9 protoss, 7 zerg. Brings up memories of shortly after release. Good times.

EmpireNerchio vs MyMClouD .... BM readings for this match are off scale.
Also big lol at Idra vs Throzain in Ro1... I bet Thorzain had it all planned.

I am excited to see season two after the great show put on by a middling group of players in season 1, however, the HUGGEEEE downtime between the games played and the casting is really hurting my enthusiasm. We'll have had 2 MLG's between seasons 1 and 2 and NASL will have played 9 weeks of games and a playoffs.
I know that the delays are quality related, but I would love to see the process sped up some more so that once the qualifiers decide who is in it and the games are cast we have a shorter wait for the next season. A late June cast for this would have satisfied my impatience for example, but by mid-July I will have totally forgotten who I will even be watching in this (besides Thorzain and Vibe).

It comes down to thorzain beating drewbie. I'm sure he can do it :-).

I love how somehow, Drewbie's name always gets messed up in one way or another, whether it's his ID or his last name.
The link says ROOTdrewbit, just thought that was kinda funny.

I think IPL starts broadcasting their matches in July after the NASL season 1 is completed entirely.
