Both are playing a very aggressive style carefully making drones behind it. To go mutas you need a lot of crawlers to defend, and it becomes obvious what you're doing to the other player. | ||

Couldn't find them anywhere in English so went sifting through PlayXP till I could decipher which map was which in Korean...then upon finding the last map I noticed CSN's recap just popped up with all the maps in it lol -_______- oh well, it's done either way =) oooh, viOlet with the infestor play eh | ||

It's really easy to predict muta, you can see the 3rd and fourth gas with ling pokes, sack an overlord etc. Beyond that, if one player is going muta and the other is going roaches the roach player will actually win because when the roach player sees the mutas they'll a-move their roaches to the other player's base and because the other player teched to muta they won't have enough to stop them and the roaches will kill their base faster than the mutas will kill the roaching players base. Another thing is that infestors or hydras both completely own muta and they're both useful at supplementing the roach ball against a roach based army. Basically it's stupid to go muta unless you see your opponent do something really weird or you know you're really far ahead or you feel really behind early and you want to do basically an all-in with really early muta but that's not that good. | ||
