Looking forward to it. Sase is one of the underhyped but really good players out there and Sjow is brilliant at his best.
|
Good luck Sjow! Too bad about the timing of so many other tourneys happening right now (also the stream isn't listed in TL sidebar).
|
The maps have been decided!
And the stream is listed in the TL sidebar, but when I posted it I used TG11 as shortname for the event. So thats my bad.

The third game went for a crazy basetrade, and ended with draw! Will be replayed = )
|
Really SjoW? T_T... Jeez that was a horrible 3rd game... Lol.... they should make it so you can land on those islands on that map
|
Yet another basetrade in game... is it 4 now?, this is kinda unorthodox so far.

There were two guys casting the teletour that were really funny, but also good at analyzing and commentating on what was happening.

Shame this was the forgotten tourney of the weekend, should have listed it in the events sidebar to get more viewers, but grats to Sjow.

It was listed in the Sidebar, even in the 'BIG' event tracker

One of the most epic matches ever this. Its always sad to see 2 really good players meet in the finals, and then proceed to win 4-0 with only 4gate or something of the sort. But this one didn't disappoint. It was epic from start to finish.
I just have a few things to gripe on tho. The stream was laggy as hell the entire event, Even for us viewers up on the stage. It wasn't unwatchable, but it did add an added annoyance. And with super computers and a 100 Gbit line, this should not have been a problem!
Why wasn't this casted on the main stage? The small screen in the pro gamer area was just way too small. I can't imagine the people sitting at the back could see anything. For something as epic as this, the main stage should have been obvious.
Soundproofing. I don't imagine the players could hear you clearly. But I am fairly sure they should have been able to make out obvious words like "dark templar". I was sitting right next to them earlier, with a soundproofing headset, and even I could hear you...and you turned the volume up for the finals. I'm not saying any of the players gained an advantage from this tho, because when you play, you start picking up words that you have no idea is true or not, and its more distracting than anything else. Soundproofing would also help the insane amount of background noise generally being generated at TG.
And as a last thing..make your casters actually play the game. I think some of the casters was really good, but others generally didn't seem to know what was going on, and only pointed out what was happening on the screen..which we can already see!

Hello,
Thanks alot for the input Excludos! You bring up some very good points and we are aware of everything you say. TG11 was a proving ground for SC2 and game streaming. There were issues that could perhaps been avoided. Despite that we ended up getting world class players, a fantastic crowd and incredible games.
TG12 will be something of its own. And we've already started planning it.
