No, cuz Archons totally RAPE infestor+Speedling+Banelings (can't get pinned down by fungal, deal heavy DMG to Lings, soak up tons of Baneling- and Infestor-DMG, cuz they don't take any additional DMG from anything in the Zerg army). And the whole rest of the same Techtree (Blinkstalkers and HT's) rape everything else the Zerg got.
Also continuing to make Collossi VS this is pretty stupid, cuz Bling-Drops rape the whole army and the left over Collossi get cleaned up by the rest of the Zerg.
Blinkstalkers+Archons+HT's is definitely the best solution to what Stephano has been making all game long, yet ToD went for probably one of the worst compositions, making me question his understanding of PvZ.

His PvZ is certainly better than urs, so u shouldnt question his but urs in fact. In whole that post of urs u didnt explain how archons beat broodlords which was the point of my previous post.

Yeah archons are good but its not like them missing was the problem here. Tods build was ok, all he needed was to research blink at some point, or add HT later on against mass infestor.

No1 except of u has ever said anything about Archons beating Broodlords...
Ht's and Blinkstalkers beat them and they are both on the same Techtree as the Archons, which are also good against everything Stephano made leading up to his Broodlord/Infestor-Mix.
Yes, in SC2, you actually have to think about whole BO's and not only final Unit-Compositions, so pretty much from the point where ToD massed Collossi and Gateway-Units for several minutes against an Army that does very well against exactly this Unit-Composition, I was thinking to myself: "WTf is he doing? - Get Archons, get HT's, get Blink." Basically every decent Master-League-player should know this.

You sound like you have seen it a million times, but Archons don't get pinned down by fungal (they became massive, but massive does not protect against fungal growth, only the Ultralisk's special ability does... or do I miss something here). I agree that HTs + Archons would be good in such situations but that would be even more gas-heavy than the standard deathball and it is less reliable killing tons of lings all over the place. Did ToD have at one time have the gas to make such a tech switch?

Well, if he had the gas for several Collossi, 2 Starports and 10+ VR's, he coudl've definitely afford a Templar-Archive, Storm-Upgrade, Blink Upgrade and a few HT's....
Besides, he already had the Citadel...
I'm actually not sure about the Archons - I've been only playing like 20+ PvZ/ZVP's respectively on the new patch, so if I'm wrong - my apoligies. ^^'

Don't worry for tonight, you don't miss anything, inuh is really awful, Cloud vs inuh on metalo is probably one of the worst game i've seen played by "pro" players, actually no, not one of the worst, definitely the worst, and way ahead of any concurrence ... my god.

Well when he made two stargates, Stephano ceased baneling drops. Before that he made Colossi to defend and as far as I remember couldn't afford to tech switch to HTs. I also don't understand why he didn't invest a little bit into blink rather than his insane amount of Void Rays. Would have loved to see a handful of HTs then to feedback infestor and queens. I think he preferred Void Rays because he wanted to have the gold and thus mass blink stalker could be dangerous because of the hole in the middle of the map so he might not blink under the brood lords. But well, going Void Rays was his downfall in the game...

Pfff, 5 different streams, 2 different matches going on the same time, but only of them on air (including 4 french streams ...). T_T

Stephano toying with cloud as always.

|
Looking at the results and pretty much every group has some huge names eliminated, and some relative unknowns advancing.
Seems like the formerly "2nd tier" EU players are really starting to shine!
|
What are the results so far please?
|
ClouD just can't win against Stephano.

|
|
again the stream is fucked up for me...
|
If only I could watch Cloud vs ToD now. I'm very interested in those two playing... Really sad that Dailymotion stream sucks and lags.

Updated group A tiebreak result, and group H result.
