Why be sour? He's making a good point, and obviously users who have a higher per centage of useful input are allowed more posts that "would get someone else banned"

If anything, game1 showed that he has weaknesses. Idra just didnot exploit them at all.

When I can't find schedule info on the official tournament website, I come to TL. Always delivers, thanks!

I'm kind of worried about Idras status in EG or as a pro player in general to be honest, I would not be surprised if he just takes a extended break from the game really soon.
You've got nothing to worry about. So you guys don't care about it then I guess? The players dont have a responsability in representing the organisation in a decent way?
To your comment about Idra taking a break, not going to happen.
He'll either switch to protoss or keep waiting for "balance patch"

serious question, didn't see the game.
MorroW defended a push from MC and counter attacked only a few minutes earlier.
He did not let a Protoss get too much defense before going for the win. Idra just stood around and seemed scared to death to even attack.

IdrA throws away 3-4 queens a few ovies and some drones vs a phoenix opening... has MC on the ropes but then stops attacking...
IdrA gets 7 bl's and sticks his army in a choke spot and dies easily "PVZ IMBALANCED!"
MC had 0 defenses at both his 3rd/4th. IdrA took a late 4th / never corrupted after killing the Collo in the first fight and didn't scout expansions. Late on infesters as well. Had he waited for infesters and massed some bl's while harrassing the expos with lings or something he'd be fine and that is ONLY after him NOT throwing 4 base of production into 2 collo (idra had corruptors out) and 5 stalkers...
The thing that pisses me off the most though is that OK so you make a mistake at the end and it costs you the game.. why give up on game 2? You had him on the ropes like 3 separate times EVEN IF you want to argue "I can't win!" you at least came REALLY REALLY close vs the best fucking protoss on the planet... what more do you want? Give game 2 a try jesus Maybe you should actually play a game from a zergs perspective. I'm getting so tired of protoss players, pros or not, throwing their opinion around when they have never actually expierenced it Ironically that iNcontroL's offrace Zerg is better than most high Masters. Please, do some research before you bash a player.
I wonder why he doesn't play Zerg in tournaments then.

The worst part about the first match was that the so called "comeback" wasn't even interesting. Take Boxer's comebacks, where you get all teary eyed watching him seeing to first glimpse of hope when his main is in shreds, and then with insane micro and wit inches back into the game with moves you wouldn't be able to imagine (the Goliath island drops vs Joyo's Carrier anyone?).
Watching this game however, I could do nothing but yawn, and at the end blinking all your stalkers to kill the lords and psi-storming hydras even I could pull off. Funnily enough the commentators thought Broodlords was Idra's saviors, but I don't think I have seen one match where Broodlords do anything but kill the Zerg vs blink Stalkers. I don't understand why Idra never GG'd when MC got up his third.
I don't care about balance, just give me 3 races that are interesting to spectate, not just 2, since the risk of one player being P is too high.

Yeah, I agree completely. I've been a fan of Idra's for a while, but I'm getting tired of how easily he gives up. Something to talk to him about, perhaps?

He should have tried though. MC is human, he can be beaten. White-Ra showed that in the team matches. I'm pretty sure if you went up against MC you'd try your best too. I think Idra should've given it his all just like in game 1. He did a great job coming back from that early game harass, if he'd pushed earlier with his army I'm pretty sure he could've taken game 1.
I have to agree with you on the whole if you went up against MC you'd try your best too. I know I would. 90% of my mind would already have "I've lost" burned into it, but can you imagine if you played the most flawless game just for that one game against MC and manage to beat him, the feelings you would feel would be undescribable. I guess it all comes down to the mindset in the end, and it's been made very clear on a lot of the previous occasions we have seen IdrA play that he just doesn't have it yet.
I hope for his sake, one day he will grow out of it and mature as a player. He is destined for so much more but there's no one holding him back except himself.

Why would he get banned from his own site? lol

In game 1 Idra made one mistake of not guarding his broodlords and then he instantly lost the game. I don't think MC lost even 20 supply. But well even without that mistake you lose when toss gets colossi and storms

How do you "throw away" queens when they are literally lifted up when they spawn? Come on protoss players, you just look silly. We can all agree that Idra made 1 huge mistake at the end that lost the game, but I think the problem some people have, you can't punish a protoss for making the same mistake. Idra stayed ahead of MC the entire game until HT came out... How is Idra supposed to win on Meta with the small chokes(Forcefield) and blink (for maybe drops)? You can't break a protoss with a 3 forcefield wide choke and collosus.
I am sorry but terran/zerg both complaining about protoss, and protoss complain about... people complaining? It is common to complain about imbalance, but when one particular race only complains about complainers, you know somethings a bit offbalance.

MC did a 3gate blink all in that MorroW defended very well.
He did say though in his interview(look up YoanM's post in this thread for a proper translation), that he just played around in game 2 because he was confident he would win game 1 and 3. (The last map being old shakuras)

just to be exact, idra had patrolling zerglings at mc's 4th and 5th, and saw gold going down because he held lower xel'naga tower, and he did corrupt with corruptors after killing collosi. + MC had cannons and wall of gateways at his 3rd, it's not like he had no defenses. that last fight was just bad, he really did need to wait for those infestors, and keep his bl's safe...

Only the protoss are arguing against it, he isn't a martyr, he literally can not win. Like I said before, MC said he will never lose to a zerg, unless they nerf. When the best protoss player literally says I like the nerfs because I want to win fairly, you have to believe it. if you cant see how idra could have won game 1, you are lost There probably wasn't a point in the game where IdrA could have turned the tide unless he went mass roach instead of hydra. Hydra+blord is just too slow to effectively combat blink stalkers+HT off creep and MC didn't make the huge mistake of going far onto IdrA's creep. The only thing that would have significantly changed the late game of that match was pooling resources/larva for a rapid post-battle reinforcement or many more blords, but none of that is certain given MC's excellent decision making. Obviously his failed 6 pool was giving the series to MC. I think he could've killed mc's third

Idra is still miles ahead of the other EG players. No disrespect towards IC who took 4th in MLG Dallas, but that was kind of an upset. What good would it have been if he had won it? Old shakuras is for PvZ what steppes of war was for TvZ.
