Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied.

Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't.

is demuslim back to normal? on his sc2ranks profile it says that his last game was nearly a month ago. i think a month without training can be really hard to be in shape again for a tournement.

Picks look amazing. Absolutely cannot wait to start watching these games and hopefully we can get some good drama out of the starcraft part of it not the community being whiny

Poland isn't in Eastern Europe... But yeah, he's being silly.

It is according to the UN! Check Wikipedia, it's true.

He's wearing a cast in his video, looks to me like he's not capable of playing in the NASL (despite actually bothering to apply...........) so lets overlook him totally without even bothering to contact him about it."

I also find this completely suspect. How could you honestly pass this player up without bothering to just give him a phone call?

I really want the NASL to be awesome, but so far it's looking kind of bad. From the selection process to the manipulation of groups to force WWE style drama, it's just hard to take seriously.

Does everyone realize how big e-sports can get in the NA if this booms?

It will be huge, it's getting huge as we speak.

It's a list of 50 people. Unfortunately that means not every top player can get it.

They need to make money off it as well. So not only do they invite top players, but people the community favorites.

If there are players that don't belong, then they will be weeded out pretty fast. They may have taken your favorite players spot, but there's always next season, and if they really deserve to be there, then they will probably be able to get through using the qualifier. I'm not sure how well I would have done if they threw me in there now. I can't say I would be confident playing someone like ogsmc in a tournament. Although I would love the chance too (favorite protoss player <3)

Nasl is a business. I want to watch it grow. Am I little disappointed I didn't get in? Ofc..but will there be other chances to get in, other turnys (especially if the NASL takes off) ? Yes.

Starcraft 2 is so close to becoming huge in the NA. Instead of negatively criticizing one of the first businesses to actually try and expand E-sports in the west. Lets give it our unconditional support. Starcraft 2 can be huge, but only if the community supports it.

Buy your ticket, sit back, with some food and coke, and enjoy the show. I know I will.

Oh btw, thanks for the support to me guys, it means a lot.

Best post I've seen in a long time. Particularly the bolded part.

I believe in the almighty Grötslev! -- I am never serious and you should never believe a thing I say. Including the previous sentence.

So this is like not criticizing America when we decide to go to war, then? Just unconditional support to our dear leader no matter what for the sake of patriotism? Nah man, doesn't work that way for some of us. We want eSports to be huge in the Western world and if the NASL is doing something worth criticizing, it should be criticized. It's because of our love of eSports that there is so much passion - to stand idly by with blind faith and acceptance is never an option.

Dude, you're shitting me.

We're talking about a list of 50 players participating in a video game tournament. It's not perfect, but it's about 90% right.

Heaven forbid we just enjoy it!

All the invites are good, i do think some NA players that were cut did not deserve it considering that lots of Europeans and Koreans are on the list and it is a north american starleague T_T

Seriously , was another group so impossible to make so u can fit in most of the left out players? Would of shut this thread down instantly.
Still , this should be more than enough for starters so u guys shouldn't be making such a damn fuss about it.

I still see absolutely no reason why ViBE was chosen over ThisIsJimmy.
Jimmy has a longer history of SC2 success, better results in online cups (including recently), etc.

Both players have better results in online cups than a lot of plalyers invited though, and ViBE is a NA Zerg which is what they were lacking. Can't only invite Terrans.

I disagree with inviting players based on race over merit. But if the NASL management thinks that a better, more interesting game will result from a ZvT with less skilled players than a TvT with more skilled players, I guess it's just a fundamental disagreement.
