If you fail i'll be sad but for fucks sake THANK YOU. And if you succeed and make a buck, congratulations. Either way i get more starcraft for doing absolutely nothing...
[NASL] Players (final) - Page 11
Forum Index > StarCraft 2 Tournaments |
Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied. Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't.

No but he's definitely shown much better results than most of players in North America. I hate to say this, but I think this was their mistake. Interacting with the community and also the voting gave people false hope, regardless if they said that they were not going to pick players based off it, that they might have the influence to get their favorite player in the league.

I don't get it, it seems like you guys don't even want the best players, you just want a bunch of average (when being compared to Koreans) NA/Euros Thorzain was just an "average" euro, as was Hasuobs in the eyes of many people. They proved everyone wrong on the first round of TSL already. Of course we also had Ciara... I think (most of) these guys deserve to have a shot, and are capable of producing some excellent games. There's still 35 spots left, plenty of room for the korean all-stars.

I'd rather see some out of the blue fringe-pro-amateur gamers out there win and get money than some pro Korean.

That's where most of the people go when they want to see 99% Koreans play. I like how people are all going on about "Owww foreign e-sports is getting huge" and then go "awww, why aren't there 90% koreans in that north american star league?!" I'd have way more fun watching a NASL full of foreign players with like 5-10 koreans than watching GSL... I never was as excited as last weekend watching TSL3 when it comes to sc2.

If they decide that bringing in 40 Koreans is what they want, great. If not, hey its their call and it is still great. There is a misconception that this is the people's league just cause the NASL is more open to the fans. It is not. We can only voice our wants. But random criticism cause their decision doesn't reflect personal views is annoying. Don't like it? Don't watch it.

Why should there only be 1 tournament like the GSL? In BW we had OSL MSL, and sometimes WCG and GOM tourneys. Why do foreigners deserve the biggest prize pool in SC2? They are getting rewarded for not being the best? wtf? that is ridiculous. The "hurp derp we already have that tourney its called gsl" argument is absolutely retarded, the more competitions there are with top koreans, the harder the foreigners will want to compete to become a part of that. they will practice and train harder and eventually be able to compete with Koreans. Do you just want it to turn into BW again, completely segregated between foreigners and Koreans, or do you want to see your favorite players battling it out on the world's top stage?

Alot of commentors are jumping on the 'why Cruncher' bandwagon and I don't think that's fair. The guy beat Fenix in a bo3 for the TL Open. He recently beat PainUser, SjoW and LzGaMeR in bo7 series. He hasn't had many opportunities to prove himself yet but has done well in almost every shot he has been given. Keep your eyes on him in 2011. He's going to be a solid player, regardless whether or not he has the "big name" forum fans like to see.

After the first season his critics will be silent anyway after he finishes in front of many NA fan favorites. I am pretty sure of that.

Half of the people commenting here do not follow the SC2 scene outside of GSL so they wouldn't know that. Some don't even know who Cruncher is to begin with other than he's some guy who qualify for TSL and 4-gates a lot.
