I'm not really enjoying husky as a caster, but that doesn't ruin how awesome these matches are.

Here's to hoping that the metagame gets figured out, because I've been all-inned by this new 12 baneling bust in 9 of the last 10 tvz's I've had. And I haven't figured out how to stop it, short of lining up all my buildings with no add-ons in between to create double walls. Perhaps 3 bunkers behind that wall to help survive the banelings? I do feel like the worse player won in the huk games as well. I feel like a Bo5 would have reversed those two. On the casting, though, I wasn't really a wheat fan until today, he did GREAT! Husky is becoming a much better caster too. He does need to calm down a bit more, though, but it was very enjoyable.

The metagame right now is so screwy. Morrow isn't anywhere near jinro's skill level (all the tiny touches jinro did in game 3, his splits, his building placement, unbelievably high level) and yet, he just all-ins twice knowing that jinro doesn't have the tools to push back, should it fail. Would the building HP upgrade from engineering bay help at all? It is very cheap and upgrades fast so not much of an investment. I used to find masonry upgrade in wc3 useful ^^

The kind of baneling all-in that is hard to handle right now actually comes a little late. Will report back.

Jinro went for a tech route that did NOTHING against the bust and yet he would've held it in game 3 if not for the large amount of SCVs being blown up.

Is it fair to think that terran has to be forced into a style of play that REQUIRES a single unit on the off chance that the zerg may do a strategy? What about terrans who try banshee openers? should they -always- lose to the baneling bust? I just don't feel that midgame and onwards, banelings do a proper amount of damage to structures. they just scale too well. rolling over a planetary every time the terran expands just doesn't seem like it should happen. I was playing with the BO, and I can get building armor without putting more than a 15 second delay in the rest of my build doing a standard 2 rax opener. But it turns out that building armor is worthless against banelings (it took two extra banelings to destroy my barracks. TWO.) Perhaps rather than retool the baneling, make building armor more valuable versus them (it's already good enough vs mutalisks and every other zerg unit.) That way terran has an option to defend the all-in baneling bust with. I hate seige tanks. They're too immobile and a good zerg on a larger map should always be able to mass expand and outright demolish the terran with mobility.
