I must say that if he got that good at zerg after race-switching only a few months ago, and training alone in Sweden at that, he really should consider moving to Korea because he could be Code S material IMO. Now, if only the GSL gave enough monetary incentive for non-Korean pros to actually do that (TL aside, since they are just hardcore).

You can't whine about an aggressive build when the other player allowed it to happen by playing in a greedy fashion.

Not saying that banebust is something new, and it always was a nightmare for me as terran, but maybe now alot of zerg have realized how effetivley it can produced. and still be able to sit with a fair eco behind. Althogh we must not never forget, that early aggresion that fails by zerg is much painful then any failure of other races early aggresion.

Delay baneling bust on 2 bases with 25+ drones is safer if you fail, but if opponent go for tanks or hellions you're kinda screwed.

Shame that some people kinda lost their minds in this topic when TL guys lost, especially since many have a dislike for MorroW for beating Idra in that IEM final. But i guess it is unavoidable to see a shitstorm when a fanfavorite loses. It still dosent take away from the big success that this tournament has been and given us great games. And congrats to MorroW for proving people wrong that his switch to Zerg would prove he was "bad". He shut up alot of people and will continue to do so

Looks like only mc is consistent Favorites doesn't determine skill =/ Take into consideration that Koreans are used to preparing for a specific player for a few days in the GSL, the opponents they are facing now they have relatively little intel on, and on top of that, they will play with more lag than what they are used to. Most western tournaments are set up so that you go through the bracket in a single day or weekend, so they have to practice all matchups, not just specific players for most of the time, and they are used to playing on other servers with the extra lag. Add to that that Boxer and FD hadn't been doing so well lately, HuKs PvP hasn't been that impressive, and MorroW is a beast. I don't think there has been any huge upsets so far. The only onesided matchup so far has been MC vs Ciara.

MvP won GSL feb, and then got 2-0 by allicia and 2-0 by Genius, then allicia and genius are better than whoever MvP beat in GSL feb? The reason why tournaments are actually played and people don't just compare stats and win games that way. Also at the latency problem? MC looked fine microing things around, boxer is just making excuses as to why he stayed back and macroed all game long instead of the dynamic attacking and fighting all the time that koreans have gotten us used to by now, the way MC attacked July all game, and had dynamic build that kept throwing things to July, the way that makes this more fun to watch, boxer's games were boring because they just sat back and macroed to 200 and had one fight?
