- Nestea beats him in Season 2: 4-3 in the finals -> Close series, Nestea merely gets a surprise beat by Rain in Round of 8/ - Kyrix beats him 2-0 in All-Stars Finals -> Only a Bo3, but if MKP doesn't get at least a game off, it's wrath time -> Kyrix eliminated next season in Round of 64. - MC beats him 3-1 in Round of 8 Season 3: 3-1 -> Not bad, but MC gets 2-0'd by Jinro in the following season at the Round of 16 to what was a shock at the time. - Mvp rolls in GSL4: 4-0 -> MVP goes 1-2 in Groups, and now 1-4 in up/down and is in Code A. - sCfou, you're next.

Koreans need to refine mech because bio just has no hope. He lost 1/3 of his army before being able to get his vikings in position, because Genius unexpectedly hit him from the side. We've seen bio/viking vs. colossus ball battles go the other way plenty of times before, it all comes down to the engagement.

This is why I didn't have MVP advancing even past the Ro16 in my TSL brackets. Thought he'd been playing a little off lately.

Listening to it now then I realized how it fits what happened today. MVP dropped the ball and also had some really shaky plays, the missed scans were just....It's apparently bad to hype any player too much. "The first one now will later be last"

Like i said in past, he's so over rated which been proven in his performance today. he's not overrated in the slightest. everyone has days on tilt, it's beyond unfair to say "oh you played like total dogshit today, therefore you're just bad in general." remember how garbage mc was the first couple seasons? then he came up and just decided, "alright i'm not nervous anymore, time for everyone to lose."

It seems Protoss players have found new strategies while Terrans are still just going MMM Viking. It might take a little while (took 4 seasons for Protoss) but I'm sure they'll come up with new ways to play in TvP. The new maps have alot to do with it. Give terran some time and I'm sure they will figure out a way to adapt to this new gameplay.

Timing attacks have changed, in S1 and S2 Protoss players were on the defense until that deathball was ready, now we have players knocking on the door with a stalker and zealots. Upgrades timings have been refined, notice how now every upgrade is just in time? In Season 3 we were amazed that HongUn had +1 attack and +1 defence before having a second base. Colossi balls? Yeah, the attack patterns have changed completely. In S1 and S2 people a+moved into the opponent, now people try to flank in order to avoid a concave. The matchup has changed completely, this season I think I've seen a ghost in every second TvP game (if not against templars then against sentries).

I wont disagree i do think the bigger maps help a lot, but the protoss play style has changed to a more aggressive state seeing how terrans have started to take shortcuts to get expansions up. Soon it will switch back when terrans learn to deal with it. Its a never ending dance of who owns who
