That's because Idra thinks the game is broken. Losira, never give up never surrender!

Biggest blunder by SN is the part where he let Losira hatch up and spore up at the natural when he still had 3 banshees alive. He had vision but didnt react as the hatchery and 2 spores were building. Probably busy macroing at base or just got sloppy thinking he was really head Not to take anything from losira though, he did keep his cool and showed how good he is under pressure. most zergs wld have just gged after losing the army during a counterattack

If Doa continues to improve as much as he seems to be doing he might end up prreeetttttyy good...

I am kind of. But in the same way I am not too satisfied with Artosis and Tasteless from time to time.
Both caster-duos imho lack emotions. I mean this game was huge! And there were so many engagement and fights where I expect from a caster to get excited and shout and yell and really get pumped so that I get pumped and excited too. This just didn't happen. No power, not that many emotions shown by the casters - this is what bugs me.
Otherwise I like DOA and Kelly. They improved a lot and I like listening to them - but, hell: Show some emotions, damn it!

nope.. why? they beat most german casters easily (not counting of course Khaldor, Rotterdam and TLO) and also most people streaming and casting in the english speaking area.
Which caster who is currently living in Korea or has the opportunity to do so would you suggest?

While Supernova made a lot of mistakes, Losira had to play really well to pull out the victory.
Muta harass is really crucial to the matchup. Every extra SCV or supply depot Losira takes out makes a difference in deciding the victor.

Losira did an AMAZINGLY calm comeback from rushing Lair after sac-ing his main.
ironically the game would've been lost if the banshees did not waste time on the nat after the queens died.
pisses me off that terrans could have builds like that disabling any read from the zerg. no early scout(wall-in) and no early aa cept for queens(which u can't afford to have more than 4). imo retarded
|
Can't even credit Losira with the comeback because the game was completely over and then Supernova decided to give the victory away.
I'm 100% certain that I could have closed the game out from Supernova's position when he flew those 4 banshees over the building hatch and spore crawlers and decided to let them complete when Losira had 0 anti-air.

Of course they count, but they only counted because the Terran screwed up massively in the first place, giving up his advantage.
This. And for what it's worth, I'm a Losira fan and want him to win. But SN definitely threw that game away and Losira capitalized on every single mistake SN made.

wow... Hope Nova goes on tilt for letting a sure win turn into a loss.

That for me was the worst part of the play by supernova!
it goes back to when he lost the 3 tanks and i think 10 rines to speed lings, that was the kill push and it got owned and he really didnt macro up another one quick enough so Losira could get back

Wow what a combeack. This actually felt like some of my own games . You know, that situation where you pull off some sort of whacky strat and get your opponent on the backfoot and then get overconfident/underestimate your opponent. I think thats what cost supernova the game tbh. Well timed counters by Losira got him back into this game and made him win.
Btw, Supernova failed when he retreated 3 or 4 banshees when losira took back his natural with the 2 spores. I guess he was macroing back home but if he scouted that straight away the nat wouldve never gone up.
|
I don't think people are giving Losira enough credit...of course SN made some mistakes, coming back is only possible when the person ahead makes a few mistakes. But the other player still has to take advantage of those mistakes, which is pretty rare thing by itself.

On March 11 2011 18:54 LegendaryZ wrote: Epic Terran fail... Seriously, how do you lose after catching your opponent off guard with that many Banshees?
yeah, he didn't pressure the main after taking out a few tech structures and the natural - all the drones were saved - he really needed to get into the main before the spore crawlers got up. LosirA was able to keep mining with a fully saturated base and was able to re-expand while still having enough creep to add spore crawlers at the natural.
After that SuperNoVa just played poorly (lots of little mistakes) and LosirA played very well and took advantage of every mistake.

anyone else impressed by how sexy kelly looks tonight?

They'd probably be good casters if we weren't already used to listening to artosis and tasteless. It's quite the mountain they have to climb and they just can't handle it.
