This thread is for discussing the games, not crying about balance. Thanks.

Nice to have the right perspective here.

hahaha and i have a feeling it will get more or less the same after next patch, maybe even worse.

I need to see the new infestlol in next GSL i guess.

Do anybody know when this 1.3 patch hits live in Korea/EU please?

It hasn't even hit NA, its still on the PTR.

LOL, that would be so overpowered

I wish my phoenix could do that.

And a ZvZ in the ro16 (Leenock Vs CoCa)
While it means even less Zergs, at least one of them will move on.

But Toss are as underrepresented, so...

Yup. Korean TvZ is often very strong right now. There are foreigner T:s and P:s that could have done so much more with those Code A seeds.

I mean no offense to LiquidRet and them all, but look at the top of the ladder. Who is having success? Players like SeleCT, White-Ra, TLO, HasuObs, EmpireKas, etc. They could rock these Code A koreans and they are all top 25 on the ladder. What is LiquidRet? 150 something. And that difference is clearly seen.

I was going to write something then I realized. You cannot fix stupid.

I really hope infestors are the key to defeating this mass marine thing thats going on. It would be nice if infestors were a little better at dealing with tanks with neural parasite imo.

That seems pretty close to impossible to stop if well executed. Sad for JookTo. GG Sangho

It's the GSL curse. You have to assume on LT & Meta you're going to get close. You've got like a 75% chance if playing GSL. I tend to find it hilarious at this point.

On ladder I hardly get close position.

It should only be 33% chance... but GSL is running somewhere over 60% it seems like since Season 3. It's damn funny.

Especially for IdrA, he pops close LT/Metal around 90%.

quite interesting interview with slayers jjob
he said that he dropped the 3.00 expansion in order to distract ret and than catch his infestors with the marines, so stop this zerg QQ, clearly ret had bad unit control at the end

Those players don't play on the Korean ladder which has most of the top players in the world. Ret is easily as talented as all of them. TLO didn't have any more success than Ret when he was here, and i don't think anyone would argue that Ret is better than TLO. There is a certain amount of luck involved as well. Ret draw slayer's ace player and an extremely good Terran and had chances to win both matches. If Ret draw someone like ButterflyEffect, there's no doubt Ret could have gone further. Tht said, I'm sure the players u mentioned could do well here, but basing someone's talent on their ladder score from two different ladders as well, is no very accurate.

The zerg pretty much lost the last game due to terrible gaming sense if you ask me.. no expansion, no sentries, its obvious it was going to be an aggressive push in those positions. Personally I think PvZ is quite close to being fair, not there yet, but its closer than people would admit especially on larger maps - but ZvT on the otherhand is absolutely brutal for Z.

If you ask me, I think the thing that needs a nerf the most by far is the planetary fortress; that upgrade is just so broken. makes it so much less punishing for the terran if you attack at the wrong time as long as you have a PF up at a critical location. I could be wrong, but from my memory, I've rarely ever seen a toss/zerg making an incredible comeback, once you are down, you are almost always out.

Okay. But Code A Started with

14 Zerg
12 Terran
6 protoss.

Just adding some context.

Only 3 out of 12 Terrans knocked out....

One of the four zergs got through on a mirror matchup as well.

It is just a case of a player being outclassed. Ret`s control was way off today. The terran was on another level.

To be fair, there has also at least been 1 Terran Mirror (August vs Loner). Maybe even more, but I don't remember all of them.
