Vibe had really impressed me up until this most recent game. I don't understand why he went lair so late and did the all-in baneling bust. He's such a good player too.

Then he didnt get mutalisks cause he had to rebuild his army, letting mcloud drop the siege tanks uncontested.

He played like a greedy Terran and the Zerg sacrificed a lot of units to make him pay for it. He then used map imbalances that Blizzard loves to actually win. Zerg didn't need to build lair at the natural though and mutas were delayed too long

If Kawaii wins Ro4 and Kawaii wins the finals: Kawaii advances to the TSL3 by way of winning TL Open #15, ZeeRaX advances to TSL3 by way of points, and there is a three way tie for the final ladder qualifying position. (between Strelok, SeleCt, and HasuObs). If Kawaii wins Ro4 and mcleod wins the finals: mcleod advances to the TSL3 by way of winning TL Open #15, KawaiiRice and ZeeRax advance to TSL3 by way of points, taking the final two spots. Strelok, Select, and HasuObs are eliminated. If Hasu wins Ro4 and Hasu wins the finals: Hasu advances to the TSL3 by way of winning TL Open #15, ZeeRaX advances to TSL3 by way of points, and there is a two way tie for the final ladder qualifying position. the reason why mcleod has 51 points on the sheet is because the sheet updates in real time. mcleod gets 51 points for being a semifinalist. he has only played this tournament

Do whatever you can to win, I guess. This still makes me sad. Seeing so many Zergs lose to 13-range tanks that they have nothing to counter with makes me sad. Totally .wrong. The Zerg should not have gone for the baneling bust. He was punished for his poor decision.

Had mcleod played decently after holding the bling busts, he would've won regardless. Mcleod just chose a very safe win strategy.

Really is a symptom of (too) large variance in the game/tournament structure as these guys are obviously not at the caliber of other players who are not gonna make it. Sadly I have to agree with this, but its something you always have when you have an open qualifier. It gives everyone a shot to participate.

Vibe made a really sucky decision by making an EXTREMELY late baneling bust and doing nearly NO damage, his banes and zlings combined probably cost more than what he killed in that bust, not only that, but he tried to execute this in cross positions which allows terran to get back on his feet really easily. He then proceeds to make a lair in the most vulnerable of all possible locations, and gets mutas so late that by the time they're up 3 turrets are already built at the high ground. He basically made an all-inish build on the wrong positions, while mcleod played a safe game successfully. Ofc LT is imbalanced because of that cliff, but saying that's the reason vibe lost this game is insane, he just made horrible decisions.

What I would call 'fixed' is something like the neutral supply depot at the bottom of ramps on GSLs LT, Metal, etc.... The new changes made to Lost Temple by Blizzard are pretty big.
