The DT timing was very well executed by Huk. They popped out at the exact moment that he needed them

I'm a bit nervous about HuK at the moment. He seems to have these massive infrastructure investments which he combines with attacks. Like in the game vs Nestea he builds a nexus, 4 gateways, and moves out at the same time. This game he built six gateways + upgrades + robo bay at the same time, and almost lost thanks to it. I mean, all these games he still won, but there seem to be timing windows where he's very weak at.

Why did HasuObs use three different probes to build Nexus/Pylon/Assimilator simulatenously? Looks to me like he boxed some probes and then went over and built (which assigns one to each building).

I always feel stupid criticizing details of a pro's play, but from watching Huk's stream quite a lot, I think this is a problem he's had for a while. He's not a safe player by any means and he has quite a lot of losses on ladder where his opponent just hits that timing where Huk has almost no units. I'm not sure whether Huk does this consciously, but especially in this game just now it seemed pretty silly. He had that game completely won anyway, why risk it?

Also, he played Nestea? :O link please?

There are two games in there, and he does the strange mass infrastructure + attack move in both of them. It just seems like strange decision making for me.

Personally I use Artosis's advice (when you're building structures during an attack you have that many less units) but HuK is much better than me obviously.

I assume with scouting he only does it when he feels comfortable his current army will hold up during the fight and that the structures he builds will help him earlier than if he waited until after his attack.

Well I think in this specific game, his infrastructure was delayed because of his dt tech. And after Mana got obs, the dts just became useless so he needed more gateways. I think he moved out because he wanted to make the most of his dt advantage, unless I'm incorrectly recalling the order of events.

But I have seen what you're talking about on his stream. Though one time I heard Huk commentating on his stream, long time ago, he said something about how he learned in Korea that it's actually better to have more warpgates than you need, and maybe that's why he likes to build lots of gateways when he moves out. Hopefully, he can show us how much he's improved from his training in Korea.

His third is pretty slow though and Strelok is also getting a third. He needs to get a couple of more bases.

Then again, he doesn't scout that side of the map and lets strelok get into position without a problem. Sloppy.
