Like in the game vs Nestea he builds a nexus, 4 gateways, and moves out at the same time. This game he built six gateways + upgrades + robo bay at the same time, and almost lost thanks to it. I mean, all these games he still won, but there seem to be timing windows where he's very weak at. I always feel stupid criticizing details of a pro's play, but from watching Huk's stream quite a lot, I think this is a problem he's had for a while. He's not a safe player by any means and he has quite a lot of losses on ladder where his opponent just hits that timing where Huk has almost no units. I'm not sure whether Huk does this consciously, but especially in this game just now it seemed pretty silly. He had that game completely won anyway, why risk it? Also, he played Nestea? :O link please? ![]()

It just seems like strange decision making for me.

Personally I use Artosis's advice (when you're building structures during an attack you have that many less units) but HuK is much better than me obviously. I assume with scouting he only does it when he feels comfortable his current army will hold up during the fight and that the structures he builds will help him earlier than if he waited until after his attack.

And after Mana got obs, the dts just became useless so he needed more gateways. I think he moved out because he wanted to make the most of his dt advantage, unless I'm incorrectly recalling the order of events. But I have seen what you're talking about on his stream. Though one time I heard Huk commentating on his stream, long time ago, he said something about how he learned in Korea that it's actually better to have more warpgates than you need, and maybe that's why he likes to build lots of gateways when he moves out. Hopefully, he can show us how much he's improved from his training in Korea.

His third is pretty slow though and Strelok is also getting a third. He needs to get a couple of more bases.

I really hope Haypro has his big breakthrough soon like Jinro had at MLG, he's looking better and better each time I watch him play.

Then again, he doesn't scout that side of the map and lets strelok get into position without a problem. Sloppy.
