It's so unprofessional I can't believe I'm actually hearing them talk this much crap about a player on a GLOBAL stream. Lol... this is eSPORTS. Not e-"leisure game with Live2Win's kids." Extremely ironic name btw. This is competitive gaming. COMPETITIVE. Any performer who performs really bad will get torched. Get it? who the hell are you? I have been watching competitive SC since 6+ years ago. Trust me in Korea E-SPORTS is the same as any other "real" sport. I couldn't care less about your "resumé". I don't know what planet you live on or what politically correct channels you watch all the time, but athletes getting torched when they perform real bad is nothing out of the ordinary. If you push with 2 tanks, 8 marines and a medivac that far into the game, you deserve to be torched. That is diamond level play. You can whine all you want about this, it's you and perhaps two other people out of a hundred who have an issue regarding this. i quoted my resume to inform you of the fact that though the reality is that esports isn't obviously treated as a real sport, the community supporting it and the stations running it (OGN and MBC) are all treating it as one. My point is, the Koreans are doing their best to make it as professional as possible, so that they are comparable to any other sport. It would be nice if that vision was kept from all aspects, even the english casting. If this was a simple re-stream casting online, I really wouldn't care. I do enjoy their jokes and I do like to hear "real" thoughts instead of commentators trying to defend the terrible player because it's being casted on TV. But unfortunately, or rather quite fortunately, it's not. They are endorsed and employed by a company that wishes to have a professional image, and to have that respect. Of course it is true that the Korean casting is waaay too "nice". I've heard some casters go out of their way saying ridiculous stuff to hopefully have the other player not look as stupid. I'm not asking for that level of catering. I like the fact that Tastosis will sometimes be raw and real about it and just point out when people are playing down right bad, rather than coating it nicely. But honestly that one game was really crossing boundaries.
Please read this. I wholeheartedly agree.

He just had his baneling nest a little late, a regular timing for terran builds. Liveforever, is master league level at best, probably wouldnt even be in the top 200, yet is considered code s, because he is terran.
In the end, lots of Barracks + Stim + Combat Shield timing is super strong, you need to know it's coming, you need your banes earlier and that's what it comes down to. Otherwise, you're just not going to stop it.

They never celebrate terrans victory. Maybe only on tvt .

Doing something that gives you the best chance to win seems pretty smart to me. Don't be so quick to judge another person. Is live forever the one in school? He doesn't even seem to be wearing a uniform so...
Who else thinks the GSL interview music sounds like the ESPN World Series of Poker music?

I rooted for LiveForever just to see Artosis's reaction. ROFL, I love it when he's wrong (that is, all the time :D)

I wonder how some zergs easily stop this, but others can't. It was a simple 6 rax push. If it was imbalanced, then blizzard would have nerfed it already!
Game 2: 10:40 and leenock had some zerglings. A low master zerg has at least 5 muta's by then and at least 5 banelings...
Do you "terran is OP"-whiners actually know that every progamer has the possibility to mail the blizzard balance team? When tanks were OP, demuslum mailed to david kim and blizzard patched tanks.

I don't think LiveForever cares if people think he is good. This is just a job. He knew that Leenock was better. The way Code S works, he literally can keep losing every single time, be smashed, never practice, and still make good money from it. You can fault the system, but if he continues winning Up-and-Down matches, he'll continue to get paid nicely.
There's no reason for him to quit or go, 'Well, I suck, so let's just quit.' It's free money.

I liked that LiveForever was very humble and quiet in the interview and when taking his Code S trophy-thingie. He probably did the best he could and it paid; maybe he was still a bit shaken by him having been nominated and described as a backup by his teammate.
I won't take back what I said before though; his play in game 1 was horrible and I'm note sure if he's material for the higher leagues of the GSL. But neither is Leenock if he's unable to defend against the same basic strategy twice. Showing such a bad decision making two times against a player he easily dominated in the first game is just a hint that he has a lot of work ahead too.

While Liveforever is pretty bad (he doesnt play anymore hes studying), dont kid yourself, baneling nest timing for leenock in game 2 and 3 was EXTREMELY late.

Artosis being unprofessional and mercilessly bashing bad players is the only reason I bought a season ticket and the only thing that has kept me interested in the many lackluster and downright bad matches that occur every season, especially in Code A.

OMG again with trash talking from Tastosis..... they never learn

Seriously, why are people complaining about Artosis and Tasteless saying he is bad when he says pretty much the same thing himself. His attitude seemed to be ok I'll show up and play some SC2, whatever.

O.O... You may laugh but what if its true? i mean Leenok probably was busy thinking of how to humiliate him when he wins he forgot that banelings needed a nest.

10 lings vs 6 rax? liveforever "tricked" him with a canceled factory. this isn't imbalance, this is just funny.
liveforever didn't have combat shields either

I'd be pissed if Tastosis wasn't being honest. If they were trying to make excuses up for LiveForever after that terrible performance it would just be frustrating.
