Watch Sen's game in previous GSL. Hold a 4 gate off while Tasteless already expect Sen to GG
simply dont fast expand with a choke that wide open. its a greedy zerg build and greedy zerg builds get punished (no matter if its 4 warpgate or 2 rax).
if leenock would have fought that battle up the ramp everything could have gone different.
(also, that is why idra always spreads his creep towards his ramp)
All my Zergs are falling off. Though this is Code S were most everybody is legit. Zergs need to improve holding.
Both pushes that Leenock faced tonight were difficult to hold.
Lol IMNestea is the only Zerg who's gotten through his group completely legit. Even though Zenio made it out, given the number of Zerg in that group, one Zerg was guaranteed to make it through.

Only the TvT was a real macro game. An awesome one but kind of expected in TvT. Vs. TheWind he did early proxy rax into heavy 2basing and only took his third (gold) near the end IIRC.

But not as stupid as the people that keep losing to it..
l o l did you even watch that game ? that was just ridiculous. you'd be hard pressed to find any zerg that couldve held that off and emerged with any kind of chance to remain in the game.
Right.. so poor decision making (i.e. no early roach warren, droning to hard) means Genius has an unbeatable build..
You are correct; he executed it really nicely - but i wouldn't say unbeatable?
Stalker first = probable pressure build Sentry first = expand build
Droning super hard after a stalker-first for a Protoss is a mistake. Pretty simple.
xel naga caverns leenock hatch first leenock no scout leenock heavy drone/tech leenock only 1 spine crawler genius countered lings with tons of zealots and abused surface area really well

You could see him chronoboosting the warp gate research, if you scout that, you can be pretty sure hes going to do some pressure with warpgates.
You don't necesairily have to see the 4 gateways to see it might be coming.
I stopped using 4-gate around platinum league because people started learning to defend it too well, even zergs. But I guess 4gate from a pro is much harder to hold.

Man 4 gate is the easiest way to walk right into Diamond.

You think incorrectly as when the game ended Boxer had 4 bases and his 5th CC was being built at the 9 o clock main.

If you don't drone hard and P does go for sentry-expand, you will usually fall behind and die later on to another timing push or mid/late game deathballs.
