I hope sc2 gets to the point where you can clearly see the skill difference between someone like Morrow and someone like TLO, but right now with the nature of the game upsets can happen anytime. Even fruitdealer could get upset by davit in a bo3 with a few gimmick strats catching him off guard.

Well so long as $50 is more then you earned doing anything else then yes you're technically a programmer as it's your main occupation And btw it's your not you're (idiotic grammer).

TLO, Jinro, Haypro, Idra or perhaps a return of superdanielman? Anyone got any guesses? TLO will be at blizzcon as well ![]() IdrA would be awesome xD

If my wife made an invite tourney with a 100$ price with me, her, my daughter and my dog in it, does that make me a pro winning it? HD and Husky like to call everyone with 100+ APM a pro, but that is understandable, as they get more viewers casting a "pro" game. A fanboy want to call their hero a pro because it makes them feel better. But the real difference versus an amateur and a professional is being able to quit your dayjob. Look at Rosenborg here in Norway, they were amateurs all of them not many years ago, the difference for them was huge when they finally become pros. edit: you can of course beat a pro as an amateur, or play at a professional level. But you are not a pro.

You're right, my original post was wrong It needs to be your main source of income to be considered professional.
