It was more of TOP throwing the game away than awesom play by Cool.Top killed loads of drones.. then he decides to double expand and do no agression against a zerg.. Anyone knows if you leave a zerg alone hes going to macro up.. he had that game 100% if he just was super agressive with tanks and marauders/marines or something after doing all that damage. I think there are 1000 point terrans who couldve won in that position..

Even if he had 250MMd 6 different ulras, he wouldn't have killed any. At best they'd be at 1hp, he couldn't finish them off. That's what the hellions are for, and he always had hellions (even if it was only a few).

It looked like the Terran build was early harass into Double Expand into Thor Mech push, which means he was relying on being able to put the Zerg on the defensive for the entire game. He probably wasn't expecting so many drops, which put HIM on the defensive and delayed his Thor timing push, allowing the situation you describe to happen. Top was trying to take major advantage of economy and failed because he went with an immobile army and Cool took advantage. Tell me I'm wrong?

It's a specific strat that DIDN'T WORK ON COOL. Most other zergs would be going for all-in pushes after losing so many drones just to make up ground.

Going for hellion/banshee harass, doing tons of dmg and then just doing NOTHING for 20 mins until z is on 5 bases and 100 ultras? Really really horrible Terran, he could have done anything and won on kulas after that opening, instead he sits back and waits for a 200/200 thor only army.. lol T_T Indeed... My fear is that Blizzards sees this and thinks: "well - Zerg is balanced after all!" and doesn't change anything, just cuz Cool (A player that is far beyond the skill-level of 90% of the players in the GSL) wins against a Terran who has played a few horrible Games. I really wonder how sm1 as bad as TOP, with obviously no understanding of the TvZ-MU, can actually be the best player in one of the Top-teams out there. I mean: Sitting back w8ing so that Zerg can drone up easily and catch 5 bases after doing that much DMG is just simply WRONG. If he had any understanding of timings and how Zerg plays out such a game, he would've just attacked much sooner. I mean: getting Mass-Thors is good BEFORE T3 and Ultras/Broodlords get out, you can't be that oblivous and ignore that fact! I really can't believe how bad TOP is and what a hard time Cool had, even though he plays on a whole different level than basically everyone he has faced so far.
