I don't know... Reasonably speaking, we can acknowledge that the game was created by *humans*. There are going to be balance imperfections. Some bigger than others.

And these guys are playing for a LOT of money. And this is supposed to be a contest of skill. Which is pride and talent demonstration.

Balance IS and *should* be a concern for these guys. I'm not saying balance is an issue *here*, but no one should ever belittle balance discussion. Balance should always be discussed.


Discussing balance and 1000 people who don't even play on the highest level whining about balance, are two completely different things

jangminchul has had really bad luck with the brackets too....I think polt and IdrA/cool have been the best players of their races respectively that we've seen so far; I guess if his opponent had been just a "little" bit worse, he would've had it

There are no open spaces so you get funneled everywhere. There are cliffs everywhere that air units or cliffing can abuse.

Wow can balance complaints in these threads please be a warning worthy offense, I don't particularly care whether or not the complaints might be valid. It ruins these threads, pretty fucking hard since nobody actually talks about the strategies that took place.

There's no point in talking about zealot sniping because if it's aggaisnt a planetary fortress they'll die, if it's aggainst OC it will lift up. Colossus suck aggainst buildings, templars can't attack them, immortals are always too few, sentries no point, dt too few and fragile, phoenixs, void rays are good but easily countered and not by far as used as marauders, and that leaves stalkers which are the units with lowest dps in the game. You can test it but, it probably takes close to triple the stalkers to take a OC down as fast as marauders take a nexus.

Terran were made thinking that they are immobile and slow, their buildigns lifting up, salvage bunkers, and stim, but they're not so immobile. I'd go as far to say they're as or more mobile than protoss because of stim, their bio being not that slow even without stim, and medivac drops.

I don't really care what nazgul, sauron or the pope say about the matchup not being imbalanced. They are not infallible and they are wrong, as many people that see no imbalance on TvP are, and if blizzard wants the matchup to be fair they will have to bring some nerfs more than the ones already announced. I will be smiling in the future after this happens thinking about the many deniers, pretending everything is ok.
