I don't know whos fault it is, or if they both share the blame, but they constantly try to talk over eachother and neither concede, one will be talking and the other just jumps in mid sentence and starts talking as well Agreed with this entirely. Yeah, and I think we've all seen day9 cast successfully with other casters. Something needs to be fixed.
I think they have to learn to alternate a bit better but drop them some feedback here: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=145276

It's so ridiculous to have multi-language streams/events when the competition is global or watched globally.
...What? the event is hosted in a German city with what is without a doubt a dominantly German audience?
And they are speaking mostly German?
Holy shit my mind is blown.

Why do they even stream this? Freebies wanting to get unrelated t-shirts.

TLO has also been an absolute hauss. IdrA - TLO seems imminent, but I could definitely see someone like MorroW sneaking in.

What and when is the next match?

So is that 2 wins for IdrA? does that mean that unless some crazy 3 way tie he's safe?

I am fluent in german and english and I can tell you that while the interviewer certainly has confidence and isn't afraid to ask what interests him, the douchey tone comes from the words he uses that obviously aren't the best choices as his active vocabulary is rather weak. I don't really mind, at least he's a bit more relaxed than most of the players.

haha
threats to beat someone up over some BM in a computer game? and who is the loser in that scenario?

I 100% agree with this, If you'r running an internationall event you should probably cast the entire thing in English, and not having most of it in a language that most of the people watching does not comprehend. Feels like ESL's website, you can get some of it in english, but as soon as you start to click arround it turns to german.

I love this interviewer. He seems nice enough. The questions he's asking are great, he's asking heaters that people want to hear. His subpar english only makes it even better.

HasuObs vs. LucifroN7 should be next on ESL stream.

The raffle is awesome. He starts throwing Razer Mamba's into the crowd.

Its a live event in front of german crowd. Why would he talk english in such circumstances ? The cast is in english (at least yesterday it was with Day[9] if I remember correctly), everything beside is en german. That makes a lot of sense actually. Keeping the audience in it in their 1st goal.

those german nerds in the audience are so gm
also +1 asian booth girl

Usually you have a guy commentating on the game. Desciping what is going on and another guy being the expert "giving input on more indepth things about the game". This worked very well with gretorp and Day9 where day9 did the commentating and gretorp talked less but when he talked it was a lot more indepth and detailed.
And in general Apollo is just bad. He is saying stuff which is so obvious and sometimes wrong "omg what is this SCV doing, such an aggresive SCV play" WTF its a scout.Yeah its going to build a bunker for the reaper, but its still just a scout.

This. People should respect the fact another country is speaking another country's language. When I visit France I speak French, when I visit Germany I speak German. Just because the language exists doesn't mean it should be spoken.
Oh, and if you're going to get all "uppity" about his poor English: people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones- if you catch my drift.

They are just having a chitchat and a gas-station-coupon-give-away or something like that. And talking about that volkswagen racing competition if I remember correctly. Dennis is just trying to animate the crowd in those breaks in between the sc2 games it seems. Talkin some trash and gives away some stuff.
