IdrA is always manner in interviews/lan, he just gets a bit douchey in-game.
Lee Jae Dong proved that a focus on mechanics and execution could solve problems in the StarCraft game strategy.

yo I really like the interviewer, he's trying to get interesting answers out of the players and he has a hell of a lot of enthusiasm you have to say. And seriously the last thing that SC needs is another Fomos-type interviewer who only asks boring-ass questions that have polite, easy answers.

Pretty much, I don't know what's everyone's deal with him. He seems like a reasonable nice guy who can put some presure on the interviews while keeping everything smooth and not uncomfortable.

word, I mean we have to keep in mind that these gamers are not the most talkative people or the world's most sparkling personalities. Takes some skill to keep a high-energy interview going even for a few minutes.

I would prefer if he didn't keep trying to force terran imbalance into every one of his interviews, especially when players like MadfroG didn't want to comment.

I hear that, at first I thought it was a relevant question but now it seems it's just his go-to topic...the moment with MadFrog was pretty entertaining though hahaha

That is one of the main topics people talk about in SC2, whats better than a pro gamers opinion on the matter?

This german guy who does the interviews is seriously getting on my nerves.

In german he is actually a quite good caster.

No he's not and his english is far from good. He is just not suited for an international event like this at all. He might be entertaining in his german online-casts for some people but please get someone real for this kind of event... his whole act is just so annoying.

The lame thing is, 95%+ of the audience on the stream speaks english, so they are hosting the event in german... that makes SO MUCH SENSE.

It's so ridiculous to have multi-language streams/events when the competition is global or watched globally.

IdrA was so confident against Strelok, i'm really impressed. He never looked like losing his calm and deservedly won.
I am also very impressed by Dimaga's revival after losing the first game against Lucifron. I had to go out just after that first game and was sure he'd lose 0:2 again. But wait, he actually turned it around and won. Can't wait for the replays!

If it goes on like that, i predict TLO vs IdrA in the final.

I dont have a problem with the interviewer. Doesnt seem rude at all. He sounds more like he's trying to get them to say something fun/memorable and get insights(with the imba questions). Then again it's pretty multicultural here, so maybe have more exposure to English as second language people.

Very nice play from idra as always

Edit:
And I don't mind it that people have troubles with English if it isn't their first language but god damn it that guy had English in school for at least 8-9 years and is in the e-sports business since I think about 4 years, too. Improving your English should be one of your goals at least.

give him a break, talking live in front of a huge crowd is not the same as chatting on the internet - I mean, I'm pretty sure half of us would stutter once in a while doing interviews even if we could do them in our native language

then again you need somebody who knows the scene, knows the game AND speaks GERMAN since the whole set-up is done in germany; would you prefer just staring at the blank screen between the matches? I think it's nice that they have someone who tries to get some words out of the gamers

yeah zerg is so weak when 3/4 off the zerg will probably qualify.
Whole zerg vs terran stuff is way outa control. Just get rid off reapers and the game will be fine.

He meant something like "until now", it's a common expression in german. I'm not sure how to express it correctly in english though.

edit:
And btw at everyone who is hating Take (the interviewer), even when he's talking in german he often just says the words which are coming to his mind without thinking if they are inappropriate or something like that. But I think the interviews are interesting and he has some SC2 knowledge. It could be so much worse...
