No, of course not. The two tournaments do not overlap at all. The Quake Live competition has an almost identical day schedule to the SC II one, except it runs in the first half of the day and SC II runs in the second half of the day.
We always run our tournaments in "game blocks" so you don't feel tortured with a CS game in between two SC II matches.

Carmac, ever since that interview you gave 2 months ago about the surprise you had for the next IEM, I was definitely sure SC2 would be your pick, we salute you for that, I enjoyed alot of the quake live, and now it's going to be an even greater treat with SC2 as well, IEM is shaping to be a very precious esports event (not that it never was), wish you and the rest of your team the best of luck, and CHEERS!
