Obviously, TvZ in SC2 is more imba than it in BW. No, F91 played the same basic strategy every game, not once using infestors, nydus, Blords etc. F91 was playing like the only Z units are roach muta ling/bling.
Do you think the game ever get to the point of infestors and blords?

So, who plays who in semifinals?

F91 getting brutally violated after the first game, i guess the battlecruiser rush in the first game was just maka toying with him...

Maybe they would, and I admit that White-Ra is probably the best Protoss player in the foreigner scene, but still, everyone should be given a chance
And yea, if only Nony would start practicing again, but life is life.

Stop screaming imba you nubs. Maka's TvZ is probably his strongest matchup, and he hardly ever loses against zerg. Sen, on the other hand, is super strong in ZvT. Sen dominates any T he comes across.
Sometimes it's the player and not the race that is overpowered.

+ Show Spoiler +Check vs Dimaga
Cool vs Maka

I dont think many people are crying imbalance -- its just sort of obvious that people are approaching the matchup incorrectly by going roach+hydra+ling. You have to be creative. Sen does that (see ventral sac drop game on LT) and so does TLO (mass infestor game 2 versus Loner).

Well, TBH, I'm just glad it won't be a ZvZ semifinal. Would've liked to see Newlife advance but if his macro play isn't up to par, then it's probably good that he didn't anyhow.

Which top Korean Ps? Based on plu.cn and 17173 (which is short sighted, I know) Im not seeing many strong asian toss. Interested in seeing tester this weekend at TLI tho.
for example -- I dont feel like xiaot is any stronger than haypro or hasuobs (when hes playing well).

I hope for DIMAGA vs Maka in the finals, but idk, anything could happen.
|
so the history repeats itself, koreans > rest .
|
yea when all the korean sc1 progamers move to sc2 its gg
|
Not yet. Dimaga is still in the running
And besides, it's not even out of Beta, yet, meaning that most of the people playing professionally now are former pro-gamers, and in that arena Korea has a definite advantage. We'll see how the scene evolves once the game is actually released and more foreigner teams are established.

But which Terran did sen win? Demuslim and TLO, do you really think they are at the same level as top Koreans? The best Sen can do against Maka is winning 1 game in BO5.

which is sad.. cause Sen is arguably top ~2 zerg in the world, with Check.. and is no match for Maka
Maka should have this tournament in the bag, unless he decides to almost throw it away again like vs F91 (battlecruiser rush into mass tank/marauder vs mutas? gw)
|
I definitely feel like DeMuslim (on a good day) and TLOs terran are comparable to maka or dayfly. Just look at TLO 4-0 freedom and 2-0 Loner recently. I also dont feel like Check is even close to no2 zerg in the world.
Doesnt TLO play Sen in plu.cn in a day or two? That will reveal a lot.

... When did Sen play Maka? Oh, never? Ok then, just checking.

wtf are you talking about, sen and maka didnt play so how can u make assumptions about something which didnt happen and check isnt best zerg where do u get this bs from lol

"Pesticide" Maka manages to win one for the non-Z! If anyone can challenge the dominance of Asian zergs, it's Maka.
Also, BCRUSH. Maka is like the most BM player ever.
