His army count is too low. In these 3 games, it seems that he is always trying for an econ game.

Maka is just beating up on him so far -- game 1 was just a ton of mistakes by maka, 2 and 3 have been super standard mech play on 1v1 maps.

And you call yourself Canadian? ![]() More seriously, ZvT might involve some imbalance but I think it is still possible to win. You just have to have crisp execution and exploit the fact that Zerg can tech switch relatively fast. It seems that the perfect Terran composition is nearly impossible to deal with without either some sort of trick (ie burrowed banelings/roaches) or much better macro. Maka is close to being undefeated TvZ, however. So we'll see how well he does in the finals against the world's best Zergs.

Although I think this spawn on metalopolis is great for f91. Lets see what he can do.

(at least I know Im not! heh) Possibly. What I'm really surprised though is that all the Protoss players in this tournament were relatively easily eliminated. Newlife went the furthest with his Naniwa-style play, but no Protoss - not even White-Ra or Tester - have generally been able to stand up to Zerg. Maybe Asian Protoss players really are behind their Zerg and Terran counterparts. I'd love to have seen players like Huk play in this tournament, just to see whether they'll be able to deal with this kind of play.

And just for the sake of argument -- Im currently in diamond league on asia servers and I feel like I have a lot less trouble against P and T than I did on US. I usually lose ZvZ though.

EDIT: It is fully possible that Asian Terrans (except for people like Maka) and Protoss aren't up to par with the Zerg counterparts. I again reiterate my desire to see more US Protoss players in these tournaments ![]()

Obviously, TvZ in SC2 is more imba than it in BW.
