One thing I would add is that if you are playing vs a zerg that goes hatch first you will immediately be behind. In this case you'd basically be required to all in or hope your opponent screws up and throws away their lead somehow.
I would recommend sending out your first drone as a scout and checking if your opponent is going hatch first. If they are, swap the order of your pool and hatchery and go 17 hatch 17 pool.
This is good for lower level play, but drone scouting is absolutely preposterous in plat+ ZvZ, id say just go hatch first and keep a smile on ur face when u get twelve pooled knowing the other player cant play a straight up game, sometimes it can even b held if u see the lings early with an overlord. Safety bane nests win games :D
