And reaper / proxy reaper openings or all-ins always kill me all the time.
Speaking of which, just died to this again. What is the best way to defend against early heavy proxy reapers (not 8/8/8)? If I make a bunker near my mineral line, they just pick of any outlying buildings or scvs where the bunker doesn't reach. I try to get a mine or hellion asap but they can pick them off almost instantly with 5+ reapers.
My macro build in TvT is rax -> 2 marines ->reactor -> expand, but if i see a reaper I'll just keep building marines on the first rax and throw down another and a bunker. Should I make multiple bunkers at the cliff instead?

Are there any guides to playing TvT mech? Especially mech vs mech. I'm doing fine in the matchup right now, but only started playing mech after going bio or bio/mech for two years. I'm winning by basically having better mechanics than my opponent and not suiciding expensive units needlessly, but I'm sure there's more to mech than just sitting in my base while periodically dropping and going hellion runbys to kill their econ. Seems the only damage I do before bopping my opponent is kill econ and nothing else; not production, not units, just scvs.
Before mech, I've always tried multi-pronged drops and harass to overwhelm my opponent, but now I'm deathly afraid of bringing my siege tanks anywhere away from my base for fear of either: a. getting them caught unsieged or b. getting doomdropped while moving out (mech is slow as balls and destroying production is a deathblow). Also when playing mech vs mech it's really hard to punch holes through their army when it's siege tank vs siege tank.
I can watch pro-replays and marvel at how good they are, but I don't really know what to look for or understand why they move out when they do, etc.
Edit: also, when engaging bio with hellions, is it best to just a-move hellions or treat them like zerglings and get as close to the opponents army as possible to maximize your hellion splash?

Last time I faced this, I just threw down a factory, factory units are in general really good against reapers. But take that with a grain of salt, neither me nor my opponent were really good players.

if its really early reapers, 2 bunkers close to mineralline (if you dont open reapers always place your depot and rax close to ur cc) and keep pumping marines uninterrupted. Build factory behind mineralline when you can afford it. if its not super early then just keep building marines, pull 2-3 scvs from mineralline to have ready and get hellions out asap. Should be ahead by then.
