A build that has little production facilities in the early game so you can get a faster third base so you can have really fast saturation and lots of mules early.
Pretty standard in TvZ, the gist of it is CC first > barracks > gas > factory > reactor on barracks which you swap to fact > start hellions and get third CC when you can > follow up with rest of pproduction facilities
Plenty of build orders around for it

I don't have time to coach you personally, but if you write down your concerns and problems, I'll take the time (as well as others) to help you out and point out mistakes. You could also add a replay. Since I always reply from work though , I can never watch it. What do you struggle with?

I'm hunting for a solid, stable way to TvT. I'm really new to Terran and I sort of get the gist of TvZ and TvP, but TvT for me atm is just make hellbat marauder and a-move, drop if he has tanks. Stupid shit liek that i have no idea what i'm doing.
For example atm I'm just doing a one rax reaper into idk when to expand into I get random buildings just to produce random units just to spend my resources.
I can't find a solid TvT opener and composition/play style anywhere on TL. I'd really just take a general gist thing, like:
open 2 rax marine, then get a cc. after that start producing marine/hellbat/medic only or something alone those lines. any tips?

forGG opening is very solid all around and can transition into bio as well as mech.

Indeed forgg opener is best safe tvt opener out there. Only strong strategy against it is a thordrop-allin, but even then u can still win in this scenario. And a thordrop-allin is strong against most buildorders, not only the forgg opener. Community tried its best to give ya some info on it here It has buildorder, gastimings, vods to watch. Pretty solid BO, eco focussed with harras potential.

Thanks for the links! I'm sorry I didn't spend more time checking every single thread that came with the "TvT" research. The first few links weren't all that interesting and I decided to look elsewhere. ^^"
gg guys, thanks

Well the ForGG build basically is mech with BFH + tanks + vikings. The first part of the build (the 8 marine 1 medivac + hellions) is basically the old inno marine/hellion build.

Hey everyone--I'm really new here and terrible with new forums, so forgive me for any social faux pas' I commit; I assure you I don't know I'm making them.
I'm recently getting in to terran (coming from a history as a gold-level zerg). I notice one thing that really helped me get in to zerg is that a friend played zerg and I had a mentor of sorts to really teach me how to use the race. I don't have anyone like that regarding Terran. I'm interested in having someone to just plain talk to, about pretty much everything. This place seems like a good community and I thought I'd try my hand at asking if anyone feels like they really vibe with and enjoy the attitude of the race and want to help pass it on to someone else.
For heaven's sake, do inform me if I'm posting this in the wrong place. I'll gladly remove this post if possible and remake it somewhere more appropriate if need be.

Are you referring to 12 rax 15 gas, cc reactor? Hasn't that been a standard build since WoL? Does forGG do something differently with it?

The link above breaks down the build pretty well. He gets a pretty early viking and raven and stays on BF hellions for a long time. That raven comes in handy, the other day I blew up like 6-7 of my opponent's hellions with one well placed HSM in the early game (still lost for other reasons though ).

Same, I'm around top plat level right now, but if you want to chat / practice just send me your info and I'll add

Hi everyone, I've heard that the best way to improve is to focus on one thing, and do that one thing really well until it becomes second nature. I'm a gold league Terran looking for some suggestions on what I can focus on doing better in games.
some replays are available here at my ggtracker: http://ggtracker.com/players/198582/darkzephr
Thanks!

No, but hes the only one who can win 45 games out of 48 games with it in tvt

Well, if you look at it you seem to have OC max out on energy a lot. Try to remember to spend it, such as continously cycling when you go to produce scvs, check to see if you have enough energy to do something (scan, mule, and you can tell because the icon won't be darkened). Mules are pretty big to the terran economy so it's pretty crucial you spend the energy to use them,

Next to mules... thou shall produce scv's constantly until 66 scv's! thats about 12/13 minutes orso when every base has 16+6 scv's!!!! Ur saturationspeed drops during every game. Learn to build more scv's until 3 fully saterated bases (66 scv's).
After that learn to spend better. If u have those 66 scv's ur spending skill will drop because of more income. Learn to keep spending minerals in rax and factories and starports and upgrades!!!

I'm playing Random in platinum league. Any tips on defending multi-pronged attacks? Every race does it: Zergs attack my main with mutalisks and my expansions with zerglings and roaches, and Terrans and Protosses drop units one or two bases while attacking another with their main army. I really hate it when I've just watched all my marines walk up to my main to push out a drop or warp-in, and then the main army rolls over my undefended third or fourth. That happens all the time!
edit: I spent some time searching for posts about this, but all the search results about "multi-prong" are about being the aggressor!
