Been using The Core for quite some time now, and yesterday I tried the newer beta build. Some cool changes, I am however curious about the reason Stim is moved from I to / (playing TRM)? Seems strange to me.

Some cool changes, I am however curious about the reason Stim is moved from I to / (playing TRM)? Seems strange to me. It's not just Stim. Unit ability 2 in general is now Slash, with the exception of Zerg which now has Slash as ability 4, or more commonly unburrow. However, this particular case is because of Unload being on I. Emergency Thrusters was forced to Slash in favor of a quicker Unload, so since Marines and Medivacs are used together so often, and especially because Stim and Emergency Thrusters are used together so often, Stim was moved to Slash as well. This is all speculation on my part, but imo it is practically proven because the Marine, Marauder, and Medivac commands are grouped together in the doc.

It is really annoying, but I don't think they'll fix it at all, considering Blizz actually patched out the notepad-editing exploit which enabled that. By rigid I was referring more towards the reliance on third-party programs to move the Shift key and other predetermined modifier keys around. SharpKeys is a good example of something that does Blizzard's work for them, yet isn't legal for tournaments, at least not in offline events. If they have the power to disable Alt+Tab & the Windows key then why is this not included yet? Shift may be a large key and usually accessible, but Ctrl sure as hell isn't, and it's one of the only three modifier keys for use. http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/game/guide/gameplay-overview Scroll down to the "SELECTING UNITS AND BUILDINGS" selection and you'll see subsections of "Shift Selection" and "Queuing Commands". I think Blizzard had decided for whatever reason that the key for this was Shift and always will be Shift. A very sad fact for hotkey enthusiasts who want to create tournament-legal layouts that want to make use of predetermined modifiers. The technology just isn't there yet I suppose. Edit: Has anyone else tested Warp-ins with rapidfire? Any second opinions on that?

1) with creep, how do you make 2 or more queens spread tumors? 2) I don't understand how to do this with corruption. All my corruptions go on the same unit.

i simply deviate a bit from the creep spread method by moving thumb to shif after selecting all queens so you can queue tumors then go back to cam placement and move on.

@Organnon, I'd like to find a way to do it without needing to move the thumb from ctrl. I know we can just press the key once for each queen, that's the only way I have found to do it. @Thayneq, What have you been doing?

i had the same thought and then i tried it... it does clump a bit but i started moving the mouse faster along the border of the creep and it turns out quite well for me, i gues it comes with use... either way it's just a not so important thingy nothing directly impliant of thecore @ninjury i get that soooo sooo much... but as i was writting the above, a thought came to mind... have you tried holding CTRL + SHIFT to do the hole process? it does deselect clicked units... but if u don't have any selected does it work??? i'm not into these things deep...

This isn't something Blizzard can really do anything about, certainly not with any cost-benefit analysis in mind. It's just how the game receives user input from the operating system. I just dled the most recent zrm beta. Center on selection, as well as all the base cams, required ctrl in addition to alt.

Are you sure you got the US version? Sounds like you downloaded one of the other keyboard layouts that has AltGr on the right-hand side. Looking at the GitHub, the US Qwerty ZRM in the main folder does not have Control+Alt for base cameras.
