But how do I know it is a 2 base all in and not just a protoss that is making a push when he wants his 3rd?

Please see build order and replays below: + Show Spoiler + BO: + Show Spoiler + 10 supply 12 ref 13 rax 16 OC 16 Factory 16 Supply 19 Refinery (2) Starport when Fact complete TL on Fact !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SCAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Place eBay if going banshee SWAP TL onto Starport Cloak + Banshee (1) (use first 2 banshees to do harass and force lots of wasted mins in turrets to help with my push, try to save them both and bring back for main push) Reactor on Rax TL on Factory Banshee (2) Siege Tank Siege Tank, Siege Tech (sometimes I am quite bad and get siege tech first because sometimes I forget to get it until I've pushed out, which delays tank count to help defend vs drop stuff like this) Siege Tank Push out with: 2 banshee 3 tanks 18 marines Replays: http://drop.sc/294511 http://drop.sc/294510

DT rush timing DT after nexus timing (forge expand opening) Cloak banshee timing Cloak banshee after cc timing Hellion elevator timing 2 base mutalisk timing 3 base mutalisk timing In general. I have been losing because I do not know when to start thinking of getting stuff against what I wrote above. If anyone knew the different timings. It would help me a lot! Thank you to everyone helping me with several questions in this thread so far!

Thank you to everyone helping me with several questions in this thread so far! I'm not the best but my numbers should at least be ball park for you. Dt rush: 6:30-7:00 Dt after nexus: ive never faced this so i dont know Cloak banshee timing: the banshee will get to your base at like 7 or so minutes but wont have cloak finished until 7:30ish. If you 1rax FE into 1-1-1 your viking should be out on time, start an engineering bay as your starport is nearing completion Cloak after CC: same timing as you get when doing hellion-banshee vs zerg after a 1rax fe, 8-8:30ish 2 base muta with skipping ling speed and stuff they can get to your base by like 9:30 3 base muta is usually 11 minutes but it can be later depending on if he got speed, had to morph overseers, make roaches or anything like that but almost always before 12:00 i apologize if any of them are off, i tend to memorize the timings with my buildings rather than in-game timer

Hellion elevator is wide timing, pending on gas first or not. Medic starts at like ~6 min, so like 7:00-7:15 they're cross map. 2 base muta I always got ready around 9 min so it wasn't a surprise

I'm a Terran player and just in Bronze, but I win most of my matches. The only matches I tend to lose are against Protoss. The replay below is a pretty common example of what happens. I know that the replay demonstrates that I suck in a lot of ways, but again, I almost always win TvT and TvZ at this level (unless I'm matched against someone in Gold or Platinum or something) - it's just TvP I struggle with consistently. I'm struggling to understand what I'm doing wrong. I'm using 4K.Warden's BO from the "Recommended Guides" section of Liquipedia. I know none of what I'm doing is great, I'm just wondering why I lose almost every time against Protoss, but do much better against Zerg and Terran. Any help anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated. http://drop.sc/295218

If so, what is the third timing I should be checking their third before I spend info structure to defend muta (turrets, spreading marines, etc.)? Sometimes I see a 8-9 minute third, which seems a little in between and it confuses me. Is there anything else that can key me in on the fact they are going muta? when I see no early third I think muta or roach\bane all in You need to check their gas on initial scout, if they continue to mine gas, they are either going to have bane or muta (or occasionally rushing to infest or hive) But really, so many terrans are afraid to scan vs zerg.. if you see no third and can't figure out their comp, throw down a scan

The push that should come around 10 minutes (perfect timing doesn't really matter on your level, see it as a benchmark you want to hit) and as waki said it should kill every opponent right away.

Nail down your build order, stick to it and improve. Take care off your scouting units. Your hellion saw what you needed to know, but you didn't payed attention to it and you therefore wasted 2 scans off 1 base, which is not what you want to do with your energy. Expand behind banshee harrass, as they stayed at your base doing nothing. I don't know how important tanks for you but it would benefit you more if you replace them with medivacs and bio. If you want to stick to them, you have to take care off your unit position. Let him run into your sieged tanks. Be smart and hesitate with your tanks. If you don't know how to pressure with your tanks, what you should do with 10+ tanks, scan his army, set up a contain and try to catch his attention. Back up with bio until tank shots going down. use your bio as a tank shild. consider it (bio) as expandable, but highly important. Tanks are never good to lose. Build more production buildings. If toss goes colossus*, you want to have 2 reactor'ed starports. Generally on two base you want to have more production buildings. You had 5 production buildings on two base. That's not enough. Always add rax'es if your minerals are floating. Invest more in upgrades. Either 2 ebays 1 armory or 2 armory 1 eby. With a third base you can affort upgrade madness. *if toss goes high templar, you, unfortunally, need ghosts later on, but i guess this problem shouldn't concern you too soon. Pick one improvement on time, involve it into your game play, and addapt the next! ![]()
