Less stalkers, better transition into air and spell caster toss. DRG had a HUGE army compared to Rain. To fight against cost efficiency with a smaller army is nigh on impossible.

Coaching, going over replays, proper build orders just to name a few Thats the problem. I've tried everything, except coaching, because I don't have the money for it. What's the advice been? By picking a basic 2 base BO, with a strong timing in each MU, you should win if you perfect your macro. I think working from their is the best way forward to Master's.
Lower leagues sometimes find it condescending when Master's players tell them all they need to do is work on their macro. While I accept that sometimes people under-estimate the difficulty of this game (I mean, one needs to dedicate a lot of time to this game only to be a Master's player generally), for the most part, the advice is sound.

Is there a guide for the PvT style that goes 1 gate expo ->single colossus->double forge->HT? I only found a VOD on the CreatorPrime PvT topic but if there's a proper guide I'd like to give it a read. Thank you

Why don't you just add in more gateway units instead of colossus? Skip range. Seems intuitive enough.

PvT build order that uses stargate? Or just not viable?

What i'd give for a phoenix PvT build that works in GM.. I heard some pros still use it in tourney matches

From what I've seen/heard pvt buildorders that involve stargate aren't viable until around 2-33 bases. From then on you can transition into phoenix collosi. There are also some phoenix builds that were around when 1-1-1 was really really common. However as for exact buildorders I don't have any

I've been playing around with it for a while. Some problems that I have been having with it is that its harder to defend drops, HT are soo slow T.T as well as defending 3 bases. However if you get passed this part you are in really great shape.
Other notes is that this build order is really map dependent, on how easy it is to defend drops. I don't really reccomend it on maps where you have to walk really far to get to the drop zone.
Also really good terrans will scout that you stopped making collo and stop making vikings. bunkers and supply depot walls also shut down this kind of style hard because HT can't storm bunkers.
Need to go up to 6gates before you can take your 3rd as well. Even more important because HT have such a long cool down.
This build also shuts down the 5rax starport all-in quite nicely off of two bases because HT will do soo much dmg.

For macro builds though there's a lot of cute things you can do that will work "fine" up till like low GM or even in a tourney as sort of a "wild card" in a Best of X as long as your mechanics are solid, but none have really specific build orders + Show Spoiler + If you're still interested I can probably type up a few rough descriptions of them and how they work, but I don't have any specific build orders since I either: have only seen them used or use them as a wild card build myself. lol

Hi, I'm Protos player in Bronze League that is having hard time in PvT. I'm pretty new player and I didn't see any other problems than having more minerals and little bit less gas in mid game. Could someone please inform me what I'm doing wrong? http://www.mediafire.com/?clic82fl4c9zqs5

If you are in bronze league, and you're new to the game, you should focus purely on making probes, pylons and units. In every matchup, just make 3 gates and make units out of them constantly without stopping your probe production. Check out some guides for general outlines of builds, but focus ONLY on making probes 100% of the time, never getting supply blocked and keeping your money below 500 at all times, by making units constantly and adding more production buildings.
This will get you to diamond.

Its not quite that simple. You can't get to diamond on one base macro alone.

Read the entire post. I suggested checking out guides for builds, and they include expanding. And yes, it is that simple, many people did it before.

Best PvT opener to make to to the lategame and defend drops? There are so many openers floating around I'm not sure which to focus on. I like the Creator double forge opener, but it seems vulnerable to midgame pushes.

Hello guys. I'm a mid masters player and I've been wondering what could I do better in this situation Replay http://drop.sc/268697 Short story of what happened: PvT; 2rax conc shells vs expand of 1zealot/2stalkers. Expand is cancelled by me because I was pretty sure I couldn't defend it with my army so I transition asap into robo from 2gates and add 2more gates. I was sure that my counter push with 2 immortals, 6 sentries and 7 zealots was the deathblow to him but I failed. So please guys, analyze this replay if you can and give your thoughts!
