[H] Screen Jumping Only during engagements

I don't know why but since the beginning of time, almost 25% of every engagement, my screen jumps! It's so ultra annoying and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Sometimes it jumps to a random place, sometimes it jumps to a unit that has just been created. I thought it had to do something with the "Event" Space Bar so I unbound that. And Then I thought even it could be the "Follow Unit" or Camera thing, so I unbound all of those as well. It only happens when I do high APM movements. I lost so many games to this because I can't look at my army and I was just wondering if Anyone was experiencing this or had experienced this.... D:

Same thing happens to me. I think we're both clicking the notifications that pop up on the left-hand side of the screen. That has the same effect as hitting space, and as far as I know, cannot be disabled.

I was pretty sure there was a way to screen lock... better go check my manual.

whats happening is even tho you disabled the space bar screen shift, if you click the message alerts on the left side if your window it will skip to that one as well. So my question is, does it switch on its own or during a micro moment where you might have clicked the message alerts?

You know that little annoying "unit complete"/"your forces are under attack!" notification shit on the left side of the screen? for some reason, blizzard decided that if you click those, your screen should move to that location... ... ...

Anyways, you can disable that in the gameplay menu, or try not to click them. (I disabled it upon release, but think they might've changed it so you can set it to "unclickable")

You can do the same thing for the Achievements/Menu/Message Log etc... bars at the top left of the screen, and the hotkey display at the bottom (i.e the numbers 1-0 between the minimap and the command box)

There are options to either make them unclickable, or simply remove them from the screen altogether.

Can anyone be more exact where it is? I must have a blind spot or something because I can't find it. I know where the menu bar/hotkey bar unclickable are but not for notifications... only to turn them off completely, which I don't want. (Useful for chrono/spawn larvae expires)

You're Right XD_Melc. It's the notifications... For the longest time I thought I was clicking the minimap or something.. Anyways. I turned it off completely, I didn't even know those notifications existed (How did I get to diamond) until like 30 minutes ago so it wouldn't really help me with injects.

P.S. It's in the Options -> Gameplay Section --> First Checked Box(called notifications / alerts or something), for anyone having the same problem.

It's called "Show Alerts" in the gameplay options. Make sure it's unchecked.

You can disable this. Go to options->gameplay-> and uncheck "show alerts"

Thanks for reminder. I have had same issues even known the cause of it, but never thought of changeing it when being out of a game.

You should rebind those hotkeys you disabled (Alert jump - space) as they're useful in games and weren't related to your problem. Did turning off 'Show Alerts' work for you?
